Works good and the rice does not stick to this spoon like a regular spoon. The handle feels strong and does not flex like the plastic spoons that comes with the rice cooker.

Although I'm a fan of Staub brand, I bought the rice spoon with some skepticism about the washing part (silicone and wood). Surprisingly, the rice residue on the spoon was easy to wash (I use a brush). Also, by mistake, my husband put the spoon in the dishwasher and it came out exactly as it was. I'm not recommending doing that, just leaving a comment on my experience (we ourselves are taking care that won't happen again)

Great spoon. I've already ordered another one. Great for rice or other items. It's more flat than a scoop if that's helpful to know. I have another version of this Staub spoon and I love that one also. Great products. Highly recommend.

Bought this to replace the stock plastic rice scoop that comes with the rice cooker. Quality product that feels great in hand and rice doesn't stick to it.

I bought this for my husband. He uses this when cooking eggs and the clean up is a breeze. I was worried that the eggs would be hard to get out of the nubs, but comes right off. It doesn't scratch the cookware. It fits nicely in your hand and is very sturdy.

Love this brand! The Staub rice spoon didn't disappoint. It has a nice texture that helps keep the rice from sticking to the spoon. It is comfortable to hold as well.

The rice paddle looks and feels great. It is sturdy and the silicone part isn't flimsy. The silicone dots on the spoon are smaller and flatter than the ones that typically come with rice cookers. This makes it more difficult to clean if there is any rice on it. It is also very obvious that there is dried rice since the spoon is black!

The little nodes are on both sides and I would have preferred them just on one side. You kind of need a rice spoon like this if you plan on removing plain rice from cast iron pots. The nodes are useful for making sushi rice, but not for regular rice scooping. Issue being, is that the nodes are a tiny bit too raised and rice gets caught in-between. Nothing that stopped me from keeping the product though.

Staub silicone & acacia wood handled utensils are excellent! Durable, well made & designed, easy to use, reasonably priced (they also have excellent sales) and they look great! Perfect for any pans but particularly stick free! (won’t scratch the finish)

Definitely an upgrade to the plastic rice paddles we had been using (and replacing often due to the plastic particles coming off every so often). The reviews are what sold me and I’m SOOO happy with it. I actually make my rice on the stove now but this handy tool is definitely getting a work out!
