At last a setting screen I can see!
Very pleased with these timers. The most significant ‘plus’ is the large, easy to read setting screen. This does of course mean that the timers are quite large compared to others, but where the larger screen is important, you can’t have it both ways. The timer is straight forward to use where you just step through as many ‘on-and-offs’ as you wish to set within a day. The week setting has various preset configurations (e.g. every day, Monday to Friday, every other day, etc.) which you can step through until the desired one is set. Otherwise, it has the usual operating functions, as any other (auto, on, etc.). Good, easy to use timers.

Useful but a bit fiddly, and not truly 'Random'. Opportunity missed by the manufacturer...
We needed some new timers to replace the old mechanical ones. Went for programmable digital ones so that we could have more control and variety of timings. These are good, but could be better. Pros: - You can programme them without having to be plugged in. - Lot's of features and options for programming - they worked without issue and were not expensive. Cons: - They do take a while to setup even fairly basic timings. It's not very intuitive and the instructions & online explanations don't help to much. I frankly found the process for setting up multiple units very frustrating. - The 'Random' feature is not what I was expecting or wanted. You still have to programme the unit for your times and days desired. Selecting random will then tun on and off within certain defined start and end times per day. Here is a simple feature they could implement that will make this superb - Plug in, select 'Random' and the unit will come on / off at random times (meaning setup and installation is 2 seconds). If the units did this then they would be 5 star
