I recently installed a barn door with a guide that fit in the groove under the door. It scraped loudly and was annoying, so I searched for other options and found this. It is easy to install, BUT the print on the instructions is so small, I needed a magnifying glass to read it! It works great and looks sharp with the rustic look of the door and the other hardware. One issue I had was that it doesn't mention drilling a pilot hole before inserting the screws in the molding. Yeah, stupid me just started screwing them in and split the molding. Nothing that is noticeable since the door is in front of it, but I should have known better. It is a suggestion to add to the instructions. The last thing is that the directions have you installing the wheels/guides before screwing it into the wall. That doesn't work since you need to position your drill right where they sit, so you have to take it apart to attach the bracket. DON'T put it too close to the floor or you will have to try to slide the nuts underneath and in place to re-attach the wheels/guides. All in all I love the look! My son is remodeling a house, and I will suggest using this guide on the barn door they want.

Can't say enough good about these floor guide mounts. My contractors were concerned about using the glides that had to be bolted to the floor since they had just put in new LVF's. These worked beautifully! Whoever invented these was a genius!

This is a must for installing barn doors. They are usually not in the included hardware pack but are essential! These rollers keep the door from being pushed out away from the wall at the bottom....I found this was needed when the dogs pushed the door out at the bottom and came in the room I was trying to keep them out of! Easy to install, smooth operation, and can be adjusted for almost any door/doorframe. Great value!
