My7 year old grandson loves this basketball hoop. It’s very sturdy and able to withstand the elements outside. This was my Christmas present to him and he spent every waking moment playing on it when he was visiting. It stays at my house to give him a reason to want to come back to visit. Great purchase.

My husband was able to quickly assemble it. He does have a background in designing, building & maintaining machies though so I am not sure how easy it truly is to assemble! We partially filled the base with water but also set a bag of soil in top as our driveway is ever so slightly slanted.

The goal is great! Works very well for a 4-year-old and 8-year-old. Only issue was that the water tank had a hole and would not hold water, used a cement block instead and works great. With the location of the goal compared the base, dunking the ball will cause the goal to tip over. Solution - keep the goal high enough for kids to be dubk in. Adjustment is easy so as my kids grow, the goal can grow with them. The backboard is smaller, but that has not stopped the intense games of H-O-R-S-E between me and my kids.

Perfect for quarantine hoops in driveway. Instructions are a little unclear for 1 step, but assembly not bad. Need 2 people IMHO.

I didn't want to spend a whole lot so I got this.. my daughter wanted to learn how to play basketball.. It's not the sturdiest but it has held up to our desert winds in West TX. I have a feeling the sun is going to do a number on it though. Mine unfortunately was damaged but still usable.. the box had a hole cut into it not a rip because it was too clean. Nothing to cushion the pieces either. Backboard had a dent in it luckily on the back.

We have another free standing basketball hoop like this one at the grandparents house. This model goes 10’ high & u can move it in & out of the garage even filled with sand or water. It’s easy to put together!

The plastic stability base broke WHILE setting up! We were very gentle with it knowing it wasn’t in the price range of being quality, but had hopes of at least getting to play with it for one summer. We had also picked this one because it seemed we could move it in and out of our garage, however the quality is so poor that we can’t risk moving it. We are keeping it as long as we can because we like the low height we can select easily, meaning we can kind of hide it behind our Ford expedition in our HOA neighborhood. We have stabilized the base with ingenuity and will make this work for the summer. As fairly green people, I regret buying something that will be in a landfill within a year.

My son has been begging for a basketball goal. We got this item delivered tonight, bout together per the instructions, went to fill it base with water and there is apparently a hole in the base so it doesn’t hold any water. This was super disappointing.
