Great Way To Always Have a Pick On Hand
These Dunlop pick holders are great, and this new one seems to be as good quality as my old one. I've had the old pick holder on my acoustic for years and it seams as good as new. It holds multiple picks, and the spring-depression plate design make it easy to remove the top pick without all the others trying to come along. This does require you to stick the pick-holder to your guitar with a piece of attached foam tape, so if you are worried about having a permanent object attached to your guitar and it ruining the surface if you try to remove it, this may not be for you. That didn't bother me because my guitars aren't $1000+ instruments, so for me it was perfect. That being said, this holds picks securely enough that someone could potential attach this somewhere on their guitar strap (I can't guarantee the foam tape stick well enough for this, so don't quote me on that) and the picks would still stay put.

Essential for performing guitarists.
I'm a notorious pick dropper. Multiple times during performances I've lost my pick during songs and been forced to either awkwardly pick it up again or use my fingers to finish songs out (I recommend neither). These little guys are a life saver. Just stick it onto your guitar (I prefer the back end: out-of-sight and still convenient if you need a quick replacement), fill it with picks and get going. One will notice this thing is pretty big. It's big enough to house anything from regular totex picks to the massive triangular bass picks and deep enough to hold 4-8 spares, give or take depending on pick gagues. Just keep in mind that if you use jazz picks you'll likely have to find a different solution. The small size of a proper jazz pick doesn't protrude nearly enough from the holder to make gripping a spare any kind of convenient. Outside of desperately needing to come in differing sizes these pick holders really can't be beat. Easy to install, convenient to have and (perhaps most importantly) cheap enough to take a gamble on. That $2 isn't gonna get you any other gear as handy and neat as this.

Built well
Much larger than I expected but it is well designed.

Thankfully the same as they've always been!
Better than those cheap non spring loaded pic attachments. has double sided tape and will hold a bunch of pics. Sticks well to the tail end of your guitars.

STICKY
Probably the most durable and sticky pick holder I've used, I've used others where they just fall off and this thing has been abused and had never fallen off, super cheap and useful upgrade, the only con is its a little chunky but if You place it right that will not be a problem and it fits on other fabrics/materials too like amps.

Useful Pick Holders
Everybody drops a pick sometime... unless you're finger picking :) I like having a holder on the guitar with a few extra picks. If I drop a pick while playing, I can grab another and resume within 1-2 seconds. This Dunlop holder does what it's supposed to do. It only holds about 4, depending on how thick your picks are. If your picks are very large (like some bass picks) or weird shaped they may not fit. There's an adhesive on the back, so you can stick it to the front or side of the guitar (or on your strap or mic stand, etc.) to have easy access to a spare pick. Some won't want it adhering to the guitar itself, as may hinder the soundboard from resonating fully (I don't hear any difference, to be honest) or mar the surface of an expensive guitar (i.e. I probably wouldn't stick it on a nice Martin guitar). I haven't tried to remove it to see if it leaves a mess or mars the wood surface. I usually put it on and leave it there forever. Amazon.ca had them on sale for about $4, so I bought a few.
