I got this for a small pantry-closet; I wanted a cheap, easy to install solution to providing a bit more light when hunting around for stuff. I expected very little, but am pleasantly surprised by the amount of light (at least with new batteries) and how easy it is to adhere the light strip along the inside door trim. It's just exactly the right length to go from the floor to the top of the door. The photos show the difference between "off" and "on"". The motion sensor seems just about right - though it's IR, not other forms of motion, so opening the door doesn't turn it on - you have to present a body part in the doorway (at least the way I positioned the sensor). Also, only time will tell how long the batteries last with our relatively small usage (probably ~1-2 minutes per day)

These work great! I have 3 of them up and they work great, but the adhesive strips doesn't work on any of them. We cleaned the wall before attaching and all three came down. I then tried to use the clips too. The strip came down again. We will figure out another way to secure them. Velcro maybe. It's not a big deal. I'll figure something out. We had NO lights in any closets in our house. Now we do!

I had an old apartment with no lighting in or near the closet. It was the perfect amount of like and was so impressed with the sensor. High tech in old apartment. Easy to install and use. Lasted as long as I lived there which was 3 years. Left it behind for the next tenant.

Pros: does the job for my closet with the light, easy to install with batteries (make sure you have some because it does not come with any) I like it because I have no outlet in my closet to install plug-in LED lights. Cons: battery life is short unfortunately, i did not use the auto setting often at first because I saw the reviews. But once I began using the auto setting, it has gotten dimmer quickly! It’s been less than a month and the light is getting dimmer… it does the job but I wish it could last longer :(

It’s awesome! I love the motion sensor option. Added it to my wardrobe and every time I open the door the motion sensor picks it up and turns on the lights. Supper happy with the result

Exactly what I needed. So far so good, using for Baby girls closet, and the lighting sucks so this is perfect. I was hesitant at first but it was bright and the setting was easy enough, I set it to sensor automatic. (Pictures included) With & without light. & the batter pack has a velcro on the back for easy battery changes. Definitely will buy another one for my sons closet.

The lights are perfect for my closet that has no electricity. The motion detector is automatic and not delayed like some motion detection lights. I’m not sure that length of the lights is worth the price. A little overpriced.
