Lovely kettle, quick to boil, very quiet, can wash the filter and no spillage when pouring- really love it, bought another one as spare as great price

This Chefman electric kettle is excellent and easily one of the best I’ve owned. It boils water incredibly quickly thanks to the powerful 3000W heating element, which is perfect when you don’t want to wait around for a cuppa. The 1.8L capacity is ideal for making several drinks at once or for cooking. The borosilicate glass design looks smart and modern, and it’s reassuring to know it’s BPA-free. I particularly like the removable lid, which makes cleaning very easy, and the stainless-steel filter is a nice quality touch. The auto shut-off and boil-dry protection give real peace of mind. Overall, it feels well-built, efficient, and thoughtfully designed. Fantastic value for money and highly recommended.

Kettle developed a leak after about 4 month's use. It started on the join between the upper plastic portion and the glass bowl. The reason for the one star is due to the after sales service from Chefman. I submitted a report on their website under the usual guarantee provisions. They replied with a receipt saying that they are processing the claim and not to file any further requests as this would put me back at the bottom of the list. I am now over three weeks past the date of the claim and there has been no further communication. I think this should be plenty of time for a company to respond (or at least to give me an update) so I'm now buying another kettle and cannot recommend this item to anyone thinking of purchasing this product.

The kettle itself is really good. It’s the first kettle I’ve owned, where the flick switch doesn’t bounce back up if you take it off the stand (while boiling) to add more water, which to me is a plus. Aesthetically, it looks good, but the trim at the top of mine kept pinging off on one side after we’d had it a few days. It got really annoying and hard to put back on when the kettle is full of hot water, so my partner removed the trim altogether. It doesn’t really detract too much from the appearance, but I’ve knocked one star off for this, as a little more thought into the design would have prevented this happening, as the trim was tucked into the handle on both sides. The lid needs removing altogether to fill, and it fits on really well, with a satisfying ‘click’ into place, and doesn’t get too hot to touch, if you need to refill to reuse straight away. I don’t consider it to be a noisy kettle, but obviously you can hear it as it heats the water up. It’s not as tall as my previous kettle, although it holds the same amount of water, it’s just slightly wider round the girth of the kettle instead. It doesn’t take too long to boil, I’ve had slower kettles, it all depends on the wattage of the kettle of course. I boiled my kettle twice (and discarded the water each time) before using it to make tea/coffee, but there were no obvious ‘factory odours’ lingering on the kettle prior to first boiling. Overall, it doesn’t what it’s supposed to do, and I’m happy with that.

Excellent kettle, such good value for money. Boils a full kettle in no time at all! Plus, no horrible metallic taste when the waters boiled.

Great product

This is a large, glass kettle with the added feature of blue illumination in the base once it is turned on. Boils in a reasonable time and is not excessively noisy. The one problems, if the lid is left on after water has been poured out of it and it cools down it creates a vacuum which makes it almost impossible to remove the lid when you want a refill. After pouring out the hot water I now lift the lid before the next use. The water has no taste caused by the kettle, with no plastic taste. It works perfectly. Boils to boiling point and have no further problems.

Honestly I have the matching toaster and it completes the set. Easy to use and great when it changes colours to tell you it's boiled

Nice I love the thick handle and how quickly it heats up. I love the auto shut off and that u can heat it up again if you want ur liquid to get even hotter!! My dad keeps his tea in it and has it plugged in 24/7 so it’s super easy to use he simply pushed down the little latch and done its boiling in a flash. I love not having to wait for hot water it’s convenient. There’s so many options for kettles and this one if definitely on the cheaper side so it’s worth the price if you’re looking for something simple and effective. The material is good and I don’t have any leakage problems , been using it for a month and a half and my favorite designs would be the tea filter in the pouring area and the thick handle. This thing is great to use

Love this! I prefer my coffee to be made as a pour over! Heats up fast and shuts off when its appropriate. I've used it everyday, twice a day since it arrived! Very happy with my purchase
