Bertoni F333

After extensive research I ended up with both the Bertoni 333 and Wiley X SG-1 for my MTB application. For me, the Bertoni 333s are much more comfortable on technical downhills where the helmet bounces on the top of the glasses frame. They have a wider field of view, and of course the photochromic advantage vs. the SG-1, where you have to manually swap out lenses. As others have noted, the Bertoni photochromic lenses don't get completely dark, but this is actually an advantage for my application, which often involves trail riding in heavily wooded areas with constantly changing light conditions. The Bertonis are not ballistic impact rated as the SG-1 is, but I sincerely hope not to test that feature. Perhaps I'll keep the SG-1s in the event I decide to ride my bike in an active combat zone. I did have a problem with delivery of the Bertonis and had to contact customer service. As other reviewers have noted, Stefano replied promptly and professionally and completely resolved the issue. In my experience, you should feel completely confident that Bertoni customer service will come through for you should a problem arise.

I got these for my husband. He loves them and they fit very well! They transition for him and no air gets into his eyes. I couldn’t recommend these enough.

They're good glasses in good to fair weather. No complaints about how they shade the sun. They really are great for above freezing trail rides. But they fog and ice up when temperature drops below freezing. Other than that they're terrific for those all day rides that run into evening, or when the trails turn from sun to shade. 5 stars if they didn't freeze over.

Update 7-21-20 I contacted Bertoni Eyewear and I received a response very quickly from Stefano requesting that I sent pictures of the broken piece. That same day I received an email that a new pair of glasses were going to be sent and shortly after I received confirmation replace glasses were on their way with a FedEx priority tracking number. I'm completely impressed with Stefano and Bertoni Eyewear's customer service and very pleased with the outcome, I would not hesitate for a second to purchase anything from this company. I purchased these in FEB 2020 and was very happy with these glasses right until the small thin piece of plastic part that retains one of the interchangeable arms broke and one of the arms will not stay attached to the glasses. I purchased these glasses solely for motorcycle riding and have been very careful with these glasses. Not sure what stressed or caused the break which occurred while I was removing them with my helmet on. I don't use the interchangeable arms so I guess I can probably crazy glue the arm back on and they will work fine. I would purchase this brand again but would likely look for ones without interchangeable arms for more durability.

I was so excited to receive these as I bicycle year-round in Montana. The main reason I purchased them was for the anti-fog element and the polychromatic lens. Unfortunately, they fog up while bicycling in cold weather while wearing a face mask, then actually freeze on the inside lens with a thin layer of ice, even after removing the inner frame with the sponge lining. So disappointed! After this experience, I looked at my older, no-fog glasses and realized they have two tiny vents at the top of each lens. This small feature makes a world of difference in keeping the lenses from fogging up while wearing a face mask. I wish Bertoni would follow suit as they do seem to make a quality product, minus the fogging issue.

These are great goggles. They are light, the optical quality is great and the photochromatic feature works as advertised. Some reviews complain it does not get dark enough in bright sunlight and it could be darker; however, darker glasses lose optical quality and these darken enough and the optical quality is great. These have better optical quality than my Oakleys. Customer service from Bertoni is the best.

They dont get very dark at all, and the cushions aren't secured very well the nose pieces kept falling out and had to be superglued back into place same with the cushions around the perimeter to keep air out. Wish I hadn't spent so much on such low quality glasses will have to buy a new pair in spring.

Highly recommend these glasses. I've been riding motorcycles for 30-years and these are the best specs I've ever owned. The photochromic feature works very well so you do not need to bring two sets of glasses with you on your ride, sun glasses and clear glasses. The multiple feature that transitions this to goggles is a plus. And the foam padding around the inside of the glasses blocks the wind nicely. I'm sure this could be uses just as effectively for skiing or boating too.

Die Brille dunkelt stark genug ab bei fahrt im Sonnenschein und dunkelt relatif kurzfristig wieder ab wenn man mal in einen Tunnel fährt. Die Gläser spiegeln gut, so das man bei Sonnenschein nicht gesehen werden kann. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung!! 1A Ware, Paßt perfekt, netter Support hatte zuvor eine falsche Brille bestellt wurde anstandslos zurückgenommen einfach genial der Shop sowie die Brille!!

Dopo aver provato un modello economico, ho voluto sperimentare personalmente se esistessero tangibili differenze adottando un modello considerato superiore sulla carta. Nel mio caso posso affermare che si tratta davvero di un altro pianeta. Questi occhiali li ho trovati da subito comodissimi, non mi arrecano alcun fastidio neanche dopo ore di pedalate in mtb. La protezione degli occhi dal vento è praticamente perfetta, senza fastidiose turbolenze d'aria che si generano tra occhi e lenti.. finalmente! Le lenti di categoria 3 si adattano abbastanza rapidamente al livello di luce al quale si è esposti, niente di miracoloso, ma fanno bene il loro dovere. Forse qualcuno si aspetta troppo, non saprei. L'unica piccola nota dolente è che anche di notte, quindi col massimo schiarimento delle lenti, tendono a oscurare un minimo (ma proprio poco). Preciso che nonostante questo non ho mai avuto problemi di visibilità nelle sessioni notturne. Secondo me sono anche gradevoli esteticamente e i materiali sembrano buoni. Davvero ottimi in relazione al prezzo.. per la buona salute degli occhi sconsiglio di andare a risparmio affidandosi a modelli economici.

Me ha gustado mucho. Yo las utilizo para la bici de montaña y se ajustan tan bien, ya sea con la banda elástica como con las varillas, que evita que entre el polvo y las piedrecitas que saltan o alguna rama, que protegen muy bien los ojos. La función fotocromática, estupenda.

I haven't worn these on the motorbike in sunny or windy weather yet but so far I'm very happy with presentation, style, fit, and quality. Totally worth the money in my opinion. Highly recommend.
