Review: My 6 year old son loved it. - My 6 year old son loved it. Review: Great for practice - My six-year-old enjoys this book. I haven't used the timed test aspect of it as he is just learning the basics of addition and subtraction. I didn't want to scare him off or have a negative feeling towards math so he's just enjoying solving the problems on his own time for now.

Very good
This works very well with the common core curriculum. My son is able to practice his school work during school breaks. This is very helpful!

Great for learning
5 year old grandaughter works with this during quiet time for her 2 year old siblings. She does quite well and daddy helps with the harder problems. Later, she can do the problem on her own. Very proud that she shows interest at this age.

Very helpful to learn math at home
1st Grade Math Workbook is a great FUN! The kid hasn't stopped since he got this book. The concepts are well explained, and the answers are in the back. It's a great help for parents during their compulsory homeschooling with easy-to-read instructions and funny teachers. The kid finds the tasks interesting and enjoyable, so it's worth "the honey!"

Terrible teaching book
Very poorly written and some of the examples used to teach are actually wrong. On page 40 they use the example 13-4=7. The version we received has a green cover (not red), so perhaps it's an earlier edition? So we did not get what we actually ordered. Also the book we received is poorly written and illustrated. I would NOT recommend Home Run Press. We have had great success with other publishers and I will not be buying books published by Home Run Press again.

Great value for tour money, its a an amazing question and study book.
My kid loved this book. Really fun, engaging. Some puzzle and questions are tough and they do come to for solution. However, thats the fun part and bringing their level up.
