I freaking love The Backyardigans
The Backyardigans combine clever themes presented in unique ways, with some surprisingly catchy tunes thrown in. And there's none of that insipid or dumbed-down quality that a lot of children's programming has; adults can enjoy these as well. And there's a lot of content for the price - hours and hours of entertainment. Definitely worthwhile.

Really colourful and great for kids.
My kids have loved the backyardigans ever since they were small & so I recently purchased a few DVD's as it isn't shown as much on TV as before. Disappointed by re-voicing
Even as an adult, I can see the appeal of the Backyardigans to children. However, I did not expect this dvd to have used UK voices instead of the original Canadian voices. English is English and I would not expect something imported from the UK to be revoiced with Candian English in Canada. The thought is absurd. I think that Amazon should also post somewhere on the description if something had been modified from the original. I only gave this one star because of the revoicing - the actual stories are great!

My 3 year son absolutely loves it!!! Its quite a long DVD too so keeps him amused for longer.

My son is 19 months old and loves The Backyardigans, have all the english copy DVD'S, cant wait for them to bring out an English CD version

AWFUL RE-DUBBING !!
Backyardigans is awesome. Re-dubbed voices are not. Horrible and totally pointless European English voice soundtrack. It's like an awful cover of a great song. Glad it was cheap or I would have sent it back. NTSC North American versions only from now on. The extra waiting time is well worth getting an original product, instead of this corrupted nonsense.

Canadian or UK voices?
Sorry to be giving this 5 stars without seeing it but I love the Backyardigans. BUT I need to know: are the Canadian or UK voices used on this DVD? If anyone can clear this up for me (the previous reviewer seems to have meant that the Canadian voices were used although she wrote UK) I would be very grateful!
