Perfect for Duffel Bags! Check it in with your bags! Save your back!
We love this cart!! We travel with 2 large duffels and they are not light. Once at the airport, before checking in the luggage we always make sure there is plenty of room to pack the luggage cart in. We can haul the 2 largest sized Patagonia duffels (55L) on one cart. No more trying to carry it through the airport. This little cart with the small wheels really does the job! I saw someone using it for their carry-on, but we use it for 2 large duffels. Best buy for our travels and no more looking for luggage carts. At our destination, it is easy enough to open the luggage and unpack the luggage cart at the baggage claim area. We were pleasantly surprised it was able to handle both duffels. Now with a no wheeled duffel bag we could actually pack more gifts. The cart is less than 3 pounds and most rolling suitcases (for one suitcase has more weight) are heavier than 3 pounds.

Fantastic! Will not have travelled without it.
I have back problems and the last time I did this ORD<>LAX trip I was miserable due to the very long walks. This cart made all the difference! I have to make this trip several times a year and need to have 3 pieces of luggage that equate to 2 carryon sized items plus 1 personal item. As a travel road warrior I've had my share of various luggage and travel accessories. This is a top of the pile recommended accessory. Recently I needed to travel with 3 pieces: a 22" carry on rollaboard that had to be checked, a full-sized tri-fold garment bag, and a laptop travel brief. In this scenario, I had to check the Travelpro at the curb and use this cart for the garment bag and travel brief. This cart worked great the ORD<>LAX trip. After checking the 22" carryon, I used this cart to carry the garment bag and brief. I ended up with very long walks inside both terminals and outside to both rideshare locations over many different surfaces, easily over 2 miles walking. I used this cart specifically with a Victorinox - Architecture 3.0 Expandable Travel Brief bag with laptop, clothing and miscellaneous stuff slipped over the cart handle, and an Andiamo Valoroso tri-fold garment bag with 2 suits on top of the Victorinox, also attached to the handle using the straps on the back of the garment bag. Using the provided bungees to secure everything there was no slipping or sliding of the luggage at all. As others have pointed out, the fold out base doesn't stay completely flat when standing the cart up with luggage loaded on it because of the weight of the luggage, that that's a trivial problem. So, to stand the cart up the handle will tilt forward a little bit. The wheels are just the right size/diameter, very high quality, smooth rolling and worked great on terminal tile, concrete, and disability truncated domes. No problem on escalators or elevators. The retractible handle was very smooth and the bungees are a perfect length with an adjustment collar to tighten or loosen them as needed. There are 2 large plastic hooks on the ends of the bungees that attach to a bar across the handle to make everything very solid while in use. It folded up in a very nice convenient size that slipped into the back pocket of the Valoroso when loading the bag into the overhead of the A321 airbus. It would also slip under the seat if needed as well. After retrieving the Travelpro, I tuck this cart into the garment bag pocket and put the Victorinox on the add-a-bag j-hook and the garment bag (with dolly) over the handle of the Travelpro. This is a great combination when you have to check a bag. All-on-all this far exceeded my expectations and if/when I wear it out I won't hesitate to replace it with the same thing. Even after the workout I gave this on my recent trip, it shows no signs of wear with the exception that the wheels show very slight wear which is to be expected.

Useful but could be better
I use it for transport my baby car seat during travel. To be fair this device not for baby car seat but for luggage or smaller item and such. Pro : affordable, easy to fold, easy to maneuver one way and lightweight Con : not sturdy/wobbly handle ( i guess price point justified the maximum quality this item can archive) Overall, great device to tow your luggage if it doesnt have wheel lol... Again if you plan to buy this and use it as your baby car seat transporter look somewhere else which is maybe difficult to find. The base too small for the base of car seat so get ready to be dissapointed like me. Not company or design fault, it just the fact you are reading this because you might have situation like mine before travel with baby that need carseat in the plane.

Minimalist backpack trolley
Finally found a backpack trolley that is truly compact. It pairs perfectly with the Bagsmart Blast 28/38 L. Travel Backpack, and fits inside the backpack without adding too much bulk or weight. This combo can meet carry-on or personal item limits, and can transition from roller bag to backpack. The platform on the trolley is smaller than all the other backpack trolleys I could find, making it easier to attach to another roller (checked) bag, and to slide underseat. The platform on this one is approx. 11 x 8.5”, where others are 12.5 x 9.5”. The sturdiness seems adequate. Of course, not as easy to roll as would be with spinner wheels, but unfortunately spinners don’t sit as cleanly on top of another roller bag, and they come on trolleys with a larger platform.

Good and Bad...
I'm at a bit of a loss for this review. I gave the cart a 3-star rating but that doesn't really reflect on the quality of the product. It seems to be very well built and like it would hold up well to a lot of use. The problem for me, and what I didn't really "get" from reading reviews before I ordered it is that this cart is large(ish) and heavy(ish). There are larger and heavier carts out there but I expected something a lot smaller and lighter for a cart presented as a "Compact Folding Cart". It is not what I would call compact and it's certainly not something I want to carry onboard an aircraft. I've since found a cart that's only 15" long, 6.5" wide, and 3" thick when folded; it will slip into a backpack. That's my idea of compact. That said, this Samsonite cart has a nice flat platform and looks beefy enough to handle multiple pieces of luggage (or whatever). It really reminds me of a folding hand truck rather than a really compact luggage cart. This is not intended to be a negative review, I think the cart is well made and is a nice piece of equipment...it's just bulky and heavy. Totally worth it if you're dealing with lots of weight and/or lots of luggage but not so welcome if you travel light and are just looking for a very compact and light cart to hold a large carryon when you've got an extra long trek across a large airport. I carry an eBags TLS Mother Lode Weekender Convertible because I generally don't want a wheeled carryon but on long layovers or long airport gate changes it would be nice not to carry it on occasion but then when I want/need to carry it, I want the cart to slip into the TLS Mother Lode bag. That's something the Samsonite cart won't do (at least not without displacing too much space).

Take it to work or take it on a cruise to the Caribbean..
I own two of these amazing "luggage carts". I use quotes around luggage carts because it's much more than that. I indeed travel with one that easily fits into my average-sized backpack once I've used it to easily pull all my bags through the airport. Once I arrive at my gate, I fold this baby up and slide it into my carry-on backpack with plenty of space left for any other things I'm taking onboard with me. This is not only convenient, but also protects the cart from being bent or destroyed while buried somewhere beneath all the other luggage in the belly of the plane. It's not a matter of durability, as I've had high-quality sturdy luggage damaged from being tossed around at the airport. I recently purchased a second cart for a completely different reason. I have a really nice tool bag that has pockets and slots for almost all the tools I need when I'm helping out a friend or family member with an electrical or network project. The awesome part is that the bag has a place for all my tools in a single bag. The not-so-awesome part is that IT IS HEAVY. It's not so heavy I can't lift it into my SUV, but far too heavy to just carry around the jobsite every time I move to a different area. So I decided to look into those modular toolboxes that you stack together and pull with a rolling mechanism.. very.. similar.. to this cart. Hmmmm.. The issue I have is that most of the modular systems are nothing more than a plastic box to throw your tools in. They do not include much (if any) organization outside perhaps a few containers and/or dividers. Beyond that... I really like my current bag (minus the weight and mobility of it). Then it dawned on me. Why not just get a second Samsonite cart like the one I travel with and strap my tool bag to it? Well, I'm happy to report it works like a charm. I placed my tool bag on the cart platform and ran the included bungy cords through my bag handles and clipped onto the cart handle. This keeps the bag securely strapped to the cart but also allows me to pick up the bag and cart together using the bag handles. Now I can lift the bag and cart together into my SUV and when I get to my destination, simply lift the bag and cart out of the vehicle and onto the driveway. Extend the cart handle and I'm off. Easily pulling my tool bag up the driveway and into the house. The only thing I've noticed in the airport is if you are walking a little faster than usual with several bags strapped to the cart, it may start to sway a little bit like a boat trailer behind a truck you see swaying on the highway. Perhaps it's because I have it overloaded a bit or a little off center of gravity, but I have noticed it. Not a big deal though. Just slow down for a second and it will stabilize. Leaving home a few minutes earlier than you planned to head to the airport is another way to avoid speed walking through the airport, but that's none of my business. Full disclaimer: I typically fly a couple times a year and do not use this cart as a commercial grade contractor. I cannot say how well this cart would hold up for someone who travels for a living or is a full time contractor. The wheels on this cart seem fine to me, but if you're a commercial contractor who plans to drag your tool bag/box across dirt and gravel and pull it up and down steps all day, I cannot say how durable this cart would be for you. If you're like me and love to travel but can't go as often as you'd like, this cart is a back-saver and travels great. If you have an awesome but heavy tool bag/box that you take to your friend's or parent's house when helping them with a project, this cart is the answer. However, if you are in airports more than you're home or do commercial grade contracting for a living, you may want to consider something a bit sturdier. At this price point though, it may be worth your time and money to give it a try before you spend hundreds of dollars on some modular toolbox with larger wheels you may or may not even need. If you are a frequent traveler (like I hope to be when I retire), you likely already have a roller bag and wouldn't need this cart anyway. Whatever you decide, safe travels. It's 5:00 somewhere...

Great for traveling
Great backpack holder! This saved me carrying a heavy backpack through the airport and in and out of hotels while traveling. It fit in the overhead compartment on the plane without issue. I was able to stack another bag on top and use the handle to keep it in place. Very easy to use, wheels were sturdy. It does tip forward a bit when standing on its own, but did not fall over.

Fantastic
This trolley is fantastic. It's light, foldable, compact, and attractive. The quality is excellent. When folded, it fits easily into my backpack and is not heavy at all. Whenever my backpack gets too heavy, I simply unfold the trolley and use it to carry everything. It's incredibly useful!

Very easy to use
I have used it, so far, on 2 trips and it has been very useful, practical and easy to use. It is NOT designed for full size checked luggage since all full size luggage already has handles and wheels -- full size is too bulky and would torque the handle too much. I have used it for 2 pieces of carry on 1) my scuba regulator bag; 2) my tote bag for carry-on which I store my camera equipment, dive lights, paper documents and other miscellaneous items. Carrying both items were bulky, heavy and cumbersome. I have been looking around for various options for my carry-on contents and this became the solution! Using this cart made walking around the airport so much easier!! The strap holds my 2 items in place really well. I use an additional luggage strap when necessary. When I get on the plane, I put one item under the seat in front of me and the other in the overhead bin. The expandable handle height is perfect for me. Since this cart folds up so easily and compact, I also put it in the overhead bin (I could also put it under the seat in front of me, if I had to). It is very compact and easy to fold up on the plane and expand when I need to use it. I also use it when we get to the resort. I do not use it when I have to move my 2 pieces of checked luggage since I can mount my 2 carry-on items and cart where the handles are for the checked luggage. My 2 item's measurements are: 1) Regulator bag - 39x30x15 cm; 2) Carry-on tote - 42x25x26 cm. Unfortunately, I would have liked to attach a picture of the setup but the opportunity did not arise. Would I recommend it - YES!
