JERDON Lighted Makeup Mirror with 5X Magnification - White - JGL10W

I've had this makeup mirror since 2023, and it's still working just as well as the day I bought it. The LED lights are bright, the panels are sturdy, and the magnifying mirror is perfect for tweezing or seeing small details. It has different lighting settings, but I almost always use the daylight mode, because it gives the most natural- looking results. The mirror is clear and I use it almost daily. I'm actually ordering another one as a gift for a friend, because I've been so pleased with mine. If the lights ever stop working years from now, I'll simply buy another one, because it's well worth the money. After using it all these years, I can confidently recommend this mirror to others!

This is the mirror I use daily for makeup. I have purchased it 3 times in total. POSITIVES The lighting is pretty strong, but in a good way. I want to be able to see any mistakes with blending, etc. and the lighting definitely assists with that. It's really good when tweezing or needing to see individual pores, that kind of thing as well. There is also a slider which allows you to change the color of the lighting, so that can be helpful as well. The ability to switch between the regular and magnified mirrors just by rotating is also very handy and the side mirrors are a nice bonus. NEGATIVES First, the mirror is made of light weight plastic. As a result, it is not all that durable. I have had the plastic part in the back of the mirror (back step?) that rotates down break for 2 out of the 3 mirrors purchased. I was able to use duct tape and reconnect the back step, but it was still a big hassle. Second, the style of the mirror is pretty dated looking. It is made out of white plastic, which gets dirty quickly when around makeup and is a pain to clean because of all the nooks and crannies. Also, the font/other design elements look a bit cheesy, but that is just a nit picky observation. OVERALL I have purchased makeup mirrors that were much more stylish looking (oval, silver mirrors), but none of them have come anywhere close to the utility of this mirror. Overall, I definitely recommend this mirror in terms of utility, but it would be great it eventually the style/design of the mirror could be updated to address the flimsiness of the back step and just to make general design improvements.

Great mirror! Nice and bright white lights that do not get hot. I can actually see my face with no shadows. I love that the mirror swivels up and down instead of side to side so I can zone in on my eyes. It turns on with a switch and has a lever to change between light settings. Plus, it has an extra outlet on the front. I also love the magnifying side of the mirror. Works great for me! I initially purchased the Conair Lighted Makeup Mirror and was extremely disappointed. The light was not bright enough on any of the settings. Plus, the lights got really hot so I began to sweat. Sweating is not good when you are applying makeup! To turn on, you need to rotate the knob to your choice of lighting. For example, if you want the "DAY" setting, you need to turn the knob four "clicks" until the "DAY" lighting is set. I've attached side by side images of each mirror so you can make up your own mind as to which mirror would work best for you. The first picture shows both mirror's set in the "DAY" setting. What a difference! The second picture shows how the two mirror's swivel differently.

The mirror is good. The only thing I don’t like about it is the center mirror rolls over from top to bottom. I had a GE mirror like this years ago where the center mirror went from side to side. That was the perfect mirror.!!! but this one has to do since I can’t get the other one as it’s no longer made. If this mirror went from side to side instead of rolling over top to bottom, I could give it five stars. The lighting is good no problem. The size of the mirror is comparable to the one that I had years ago with the GE model. All in all I like the mirror.. I’m managing to make do with it.

I've had four of these mirrors in my life by this brand. It's a great make up mirror, I use the magnifying side. It lights up well the only drawback, is how to replace the light who knows? So I just buy a new mirror when the bulbs start going out.

I’ve owned and used these mirrors for decades! Can’t live without it so I always order an extra in case my one I’m currently using gives out. But they usually last forever! I’m so grateful also that they haven’t changed the design much if any over the years. It’s perfect as is!

Love this mirror. My eyes are getting bad and this one flips around so the entire mirror is a magnifying mirror. The lights are bright enough that I don't need additional lighting. I also like the size of the mirror, I don't feel like I'm struggling to get into a position to see what I need to. I've struggled for a long time to get my eye makeup looking like I want it to because I obviously can't do them with my reading glasses on and I couldn't find a light up mirror that was big enough or bright enough to see like I needed to. But this mirror totally fixes that. I like that this is a traditional plug in mirror instead of the rechargable plug. I've had problems in the past with thos failing on me. I saw another review that mentioned that the cord is too short. I didn't have an issue with this. It's what I would expect for a product like this. But if you really needed some extra length you could just plug into a small extension cord. All in all I'm really pleased with this product and happy I gave it a try.

I have been using this brand of makeup mirror for years. It is sturdy, the different modes of lighting are useful...true to light, the mirrors are real, and the light bulbs have lasted up to 8 years +. I have packed this in my "checked" baggage. It is light weight.

The mirror looks v nice bt the quality is very bad .as soon as i switched it on for the first time it gave a smoky smell and didn't light up.such an expensive product but horribly cheap quality Shld be taken off amazon

Love this. Finally retired my decades old lighted makeup mirror, replacing with this one. I did not want so much magnification that I couldn't see what I was doing, so the 5X magnification works perfectly for me. Very stylish and love that the glass is enclosed when not in use so it is not incessantly gathering dust. Good value for the price as well. Highly recommend.

Excellent lighted makeup mirror. Had the 1st one for 15 years - lighting quit. Was cheaper to buy another one than replace the lights.

This is the best make up mirror on the market. I got my first one in the 70's and this is my 2nd new mirror. I will always buy this brand as long as it is available.

This is a replacement for one that I had for years. I was so happy to find the exact same model to replace the old one.
