It can be used in one strip or cut. It repairs leather, suede, vinyl, and many upholstery fabrics, and also sticks fast to wood, metal and plastic. It is made in the UK from our own luxury vegan MastaHide – it looks like leather, acts like leather and feels like leather. APPLICATION: Simple! Just peel off the backing paper, then press down the patch over the damaged area. Check the area is dry underneath. Residues left by cleaning agents may affect bonding. You can use the item straightaway. ●We advise you cut the patch before removing the backing paper (note, the backing paper is stiff and the patch is more flexible once this is removed). Use your sharpest scissors for the cleanest edge. ●Make sure the patch is big enough to cover the damage and still have some smooth and stable surface beneath for it to bond to. ●When applying on an area subject to a lot of friction, make sure the edges are positioned where they are least likely to be subject to constant chafing. ●Take care over bumpy seams and folds - a patch should follow the contours of the fabric beneath.
