Marks Mandalas 24 Sizes Dotting Tool Set

Very happy with my new tools. I do not have steady hands and using these tools which are light weight and easy to hold has helped me improve my dotted artwork. I use canvas panels, stretched canvas, wood or rocks to do projects. These tools are great for any surface I have worked on. I like the wide range of 24 sizes and the beautiful dots I am able to make. Very easy to do the different techniques such as walking the dots or swooshes.

I'm a newbie to dotting, but over the course of the last month, I've tried out a lot of the "typical" tools you see in Youtube videos - the nail art dotting tools, drill bits, etc. While all of these do work, and make nice dots, this set was made for dotting and is just terrific - so you can have the tools to do it without having to "make due" with something else. As advertised, they are lightweight, easy to use, and having the numbers listing the sizes right on the tools is extremely helpful as you're trying to progressively increase or decrease dot size. Though I did have to debate whether I should spend $30 on tools or just keep using something I already had in the house, I'm VERY glad I bought these and would recommend you do to if you're interested in dotting. It really does make a difference to simply have the tool for the job. Thanks for developing these, Mark.

I've been dotting for 2 years now, using the standard tools for nail art, crochet hooks and cake decorating tools and they have been ok but obviously designed initially for another purpose. Mark's tools are totally a game changer... they are light weight and make perfect dots. I can't believe the difference in the quality of my dots. I have been watching Mark on youtube for as long as I've been dotting and wish I would have purchased a set back when he first introduced them. I really didn't think they would make much difference but now I know why his projects are so perfect. They make a huge difference! If you are new to dotting or even if you have done it forever go ahead and buy a set. You won't regret it. They are by far the best tools you can use to make quality dot mandalas every time. I’m relatively new to dot art and have tried several dotting tool brands, but these are among my favorites. The instruction cards and beginner-friendly pattern guides are especially helpful for learning tool sizes and building confidence with new projects. Although the tools are plastic, they feel high quality, lightweight, and comfortable to use. At 70 years old, I found them ergonomic and easy to handle even during long projects, with no hand fatigue. The wide range of sizes allows for many patterns and designs, and the tools are fairly easy to clean. The smallest tools work well for fine detail, though sizes #1–#6 are extremely tiny. There’s also a noticeable size jump between #6 and #7, and I sometimes wish there were an intermediate option. My only other concern is that the finest tip (#1), which I use very often, may flatten over time, and I’m unsure whether single replacements are available. Also some of the seams cross onto the tips and occasionally distorts the dot. Another minor drawback is that the size numbers are hard to read because the raised numbering is the same sky blue color as the tools. I plan to use a dark marker to fix this, but it will probably wash off over time. This is where an organizer case would have been handy. For the price, I think the set should include a hard plastic storage/organizer case. They were shipped in a ziplock baggy. I purchased a case separately to keep everything relatively organized and protected. Overall, this is an excellent dotting tool set, and I highly recommend the Marks Mandalas tools to anyone interested in mandala or dot art. They’re relaxing to use and provide hours of creative enjoyment.

Great set of tools. Made properly to last a lifetime and easy to use. Every size you will ever need. Great on line training videos and instructions provided. Much better than the cheaper sets. If you are shopping for mandala tools this is the set to get. Spend a few dollars more now and get the best. In the long run, you will save money and have much better results.

Nice little set with a great lesson on how to use them. I've gotten carried away and dotted some projects with way too many dots because it was so fun to use. Tools are easy to use and easy to clean. Word of advise to new users: Take your time when you are learning how to use these, and remember that your ability to line the dots in a straight line and not make ovals instead dots will come in time. Definetly recommend for beginners because of the easy lessons.

These have become my absolute favorite dotting tools! They are very well made, great size and shape and are incredibly easy to use. They make perfect dots in every size I could possibly want. Love that I get 24 sizes with only 12 tools. The numbers/letters on the tools are very easy to read, and make it so easy to get the right dot every time. Very easy to clean. Seriously, these tools are perfect!
