It is a specially selected strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae produced by a special fermentation and drying process. Our bakers yeast has the added benefit of elevated naturally occurring D2, a vegetarian source, as sed to D2 coming from animals. It consists of small oblong particles with a porous structure. This permits its use in doughs without prior rehydration. It is a tan, free-flowing granule with a slightly yeasty aroma. Our yeast also contributes to good volume, rich colour and excellent aroma in all yeast-leavened products. Packaging: Foil Pouch Shelf Life: 2 years from the date of manufacture.
