Moomins! I bought this set for my nieces (9 and 5). They were very excited! I love the books and thought it would be nice to share that with them. Highly recommend, the stories are beautiful and so well written. The characters are truly special. I love them!

I’m pleasantly surprised as looking at other reviews I wasn’t sure what I was going to receive howe I love the Moomin series so I knew I’d love it. So I am very pleased to see not only all 8 booke but matching covers so they’re from the same set. I look forward to reading them all and getting lots of use out them. The books themselves I’d say are Ideal for older kids like 8-12 however they’re a fun read for anyone older. I struggle with dyslexia and I find them really easy and fun to read however that just my experience, I’d recommend loaning a one of them from a library before buying the set.

Amazing collection for a moomin fan

The line drawings are just perfect, full of character. The stories are quite unusual, not much of a story arc but really sweet.

Ordered and arrived same day, item is great

The paper seems of decent quality and none of the problems of the one star reviews. The way they come it would have been nice if there was an outer box to make it a box set. The collection is actually books 2 to 9. Having looked uo 'The Moomins and the Great Flood' I discovered it wasn't translated into English until 2005, and then not by Penguin. Penguin have recently released a hardback picture book translated version. I used to have these books as a child and loved them so have just bought the collection again.

What's not to love about getting all the main Moonmin stories in one package! The onlydownside to the whole thing is that they don't actually come in a box so they are all loose. It would have been a very nice addition to have that as well. But on the upside I can now design my own I guess :)

Bought as a gift for my teenager. She loves the series and wanted the book collection. All pages are beautiful and high quality.

Classic Moomin collection- if you r know Moomin, this won’t disappoint.

Brand new, best children’s books and also I love them myself. Different from all other books, surprises around each corner, memorable characters and whimsical illustrations. Been a fan since 1990’s when we first read these to our oldest son. Looking forward to reading to grandchildren (if we ever get any!)
