Behringer X-TOUCH Universal Control Surface with 9 Touch-Sensitive Motor Faders, LCD Scribble Strips and Ethernet/USB/MIDI Interface

This is it! Over the years I've been through so many controllers trying to find something that worked for both DAWS and Premiere Pro. FINALLY I've found it. Also I was very on the fence about this versus the compact version... GET THIS ONE. The display panels at the top of each track are a game changer. Being able to look at the board and know which track/instrument you're adjusting is a BFD. Also, this is the cheapest motorized fader line you're going to find and it works. Sure it could be 20lbs and made out of solid steel but it's less than $400.

Product arrived clean and undamaged, and works without problems on Linux with both Bitwig Studio and Reaper. I love how smooth and quiet the faders are.

I own a Behringer XR18 and love it for the size and portability, but sometimes you just need faders! This does the job well and is designed for the X-series of products. Motorized faders, controls and scribble strips are just where you'd expect them to be- albeit after a button press or two.The only problem is the documentation provided- which is little more than a quick set up guide that shows what it CAN do, not how to actually perform the actions. MusiciansPro has some great youtube videos for this product [...] Behringer pushes products without documentation and then relies on a wiki site for anything more in-depth than just turning it on. I have not used this as a control surface for any DAW so I can not speak to how well it works for that use.

Buy it, you won’t regret it. Do your homework with your DAW of choice and see what “MCU” support is built in. It handle Mackie and HUI protocols. Your DAW determines how functional this unit or any other control surface incorporates into “Your Daw”. In Logic you can even use it with the plugins, watch videos to understand this. Doing a mix was sooo easy with 8 faders instead of the mouse, adjust levels and pan just like on a real console, with logic, you can use knobs to set parameters on plugins instead of the mouse, able to turn more than one knob at a time, turn a knob mover a fader at the same time ( never happen with a mouse). I use LUNA it ran right out of the box. When used with Logic, you can control plugins by either the fader or knobs. I was able to control UAD plugins, waves plugins and I suspect any others plugins. Small learning curve. But it is so nice to twist a knob, even two at a time, say a la2a you can turn both knobs at same time and dial in quickly.

I produce music as a hobby and use Cubase on Windows 10 as my Audio Editor. Having physical buttons and slides to control the software has dramatically improved my workflow when compared to just trying to control everything with a mouse and keyboard. It also helps that XTOUCH looks good and I love the fact that the sliders are motorized. It's not cheap but definitely worth the money.

I had trouble with this out of the box, it wouldn’t connect to my X32 rack. It was pretty frustrating because the different guides on YouTube made it seem so easy. I had to update the firmware (which was hard to figure out how to do) but once I did, it worked great!

I purchased this to use with my Behringer XR18 mixer so I could have a physical interface. It does that well. PROS: Great interface to the virtual controls of the XR18 mixer. I thought it would be hard to understand but, at the end of the day, it was actually pretty easy to build a work flow in my head. CONS: Some of the quality is questionable for something that costs near 500 dollars. The motors for the faders seem a bit cheap. They are loud and seem 'scratchy' when you move them manually. Additionally, the 'scrub' know seems pretty cheap feeling although I don't have a lot of use for it as I don't use many of the DAW functionality. If you use an XR18 mixer, I would totally recommend the XTouch as a physical interface.

Buen producto, buena relación calidad precio, muy fácil de utilizar e intuitivo, va bien con Logic Pro, al principio costó un poco pero después de invertir un poco de tiempo es fácil de entender. Buena herramienta para el estudio y las aplicaciones de Logic como ecualizadores, o plugins. Lo recomiendo!!

I use X-Touch with vMix as a broadcast engineer. I connect it to my software through Central Control Application (sold separately) on a local network. Been using it for a month and it's absolutely flawless. Definitely a recommend if you're looking for a hardware solution to audio mixing for smaller live productions.
