Review: Works well - These bags work. I have found that many of the regular Zip close bags don't completely block food or other odors when closed, these bags do. They are defiantly more expensive than you standard grocery store bags, but if you don't want to smell it these bags will do the trick. Review: Great for backpacking - Perfect for concealing odors from snacks etc while backpacking

Seems to work!
Well, I wasn't mauled by a bear, but my pack was still pulled up and out from a tree just in case. They seem to work really well, but I'm still doing the tree for peace of mind. I'd consider this worth the cost.

misleading photos...great product
I love these bags and have used them for ice in a cooler while traveling, as well as transporting stinky things like coffee. They work great, are leakproof and odor blocking. Repeated use as an ice bag will puncture the plastic though, so if you are going to use them for this, line them with an additional "regular" plastic bag for extra protection. I found the images for this product misleading...I ordered "one size" and the photo shows a box with 8 bags, and another picture with 8 bags laying out. The box I received has 3 bags. :( It is the larger size, but when you choose the "one size" option, it doesn't change the picture or tell you how many bags are in the box in the text. This was disappointing.

Works great, just what I needed
This is just what I was looking for packing my small things in and to go hiking. I did the smell test and closed it tight. Definitely does the job!

Actually useable size is only 4.25"x5.75" size. Unethical advertising.
The advertised size is 6"x6.5" but the usable size (Inside of pouch) is actually 4.25"x5.75". I find this advertising to be misleading and unethical. I will return these...Disappointed in Coghlans.
