Gildan Adult Reusable Everyday Mask with Ear Loops

Going by the size chart, they are a bit too large for my grandson but fit my grand daughters who are older and bigger than him. He loved that they were Mossy Oak, as did my outdoorsy grand girl. The other grand girl wears the black side out. They are good fabric, not too thick nor too thin. Great value for the money even if too big for my grandson. The fact that the backside is black fabric means they can turn them out and have two different color options. I found that using clear silicone eyeglass holders I can adjust the size for my grandson. Not a big deal to him, it works out just fine. Yes, I will buy again but perhaps in a smaller size. I am not so sure the smaller size won't be to small for my grandson because even tho he is only 4ft 11.5 in, he is in bigger sizes in everything else, not kiddie sizes.

At the beginning of summer I purchased the Fruit of the Loom 3 layer masks. They are super comfortable and way better than any home made mask I have (but still kudos to homemade mask-makers for taking up the task to get us all covered!). But then I saw these and decided to give them a go, mostly because they're black and match my work uniform much better (wasn't an option in Fruit of the Loom). And OH MY WOW... I love love LOVE THESE MASKS! They are SO comfortable. It's that same comfort as brand new socks... Or new underwear (cough cough, no pun intended), or hotel sheets. It's like being swaddled (without feeling claustrophobic). I seriously don't mind it being on my face all day. And it doesn't sit on my nose and mouth like the FOTL brand. The mask sits up off your face kind of. There is a seem that goes where your nose is. I also have the mouth and nose mask cage looking thing, and this mask works well with it. The only issue I have is that in the days when I'm at work by myself and the mask goes on and off all day long depending on customer traffic, there is an actual upside to these, which is hard to figure out in a hurry. So I took a white paint marker and made a dot on the top so I can see which end is up more easily and don my mask in a quick manner.

I bought these Masks to apply iron on decals for my daughters’ sports teams. I did read the reviews about how sizes varied and that the ear loops do not stretch. I did make a point to measure all of the masks. In a bag of 24, I found the following: Measurement are nose-to-chin X nose to max of ear loop Qty 2 5”x7” Qty 9 5.5”x7.5” Qty 9 6”x8” Qty 4 6+”x8” Since the earloops do not stretch, if the mask sizes fit you well, it won’t tag on your ears. On the other hand, if you can’t fit into one of the sizes listed above then it will be uncomfortable and tug your ears like Dumbo. There is a chin dart sewed into a mask to help the mask stay under your chin (Gildon website info). I got what I paid for - inexpensive masks to apply heat-transfer vinyl, but I did have to measure them all to make sure kids got one that fit. UPDATE: I bought these again, but this time it came from the Fantastical Group. First time was from Amazon. Fantastical Group masks do NOT have the dart (seam) for the chin and they are overall smaller! Fantastical masks are NOT Gildan - same material, ear loops are a little more stretchy - but not the Gildan. Kind of bummed, as I paid $29 vs $22 and I did not get what I expected.

I tye-dyed these to sell during the pandemic in hopes to make extra money after losing my business. I don't know why the fabric masks weren't popular here, because I LOVE them. The cotton took the dye really well and still have stunning vibrance years later. I enjoyed having so many masks as I was able to create some drastically different designs. Even though I haven't sold many, I still use them myself. I keep several in the car just in case a passenger needs one. You can breathe easily through these and give great protection. I found that these are amazing at blocking out pollen during the seasonal pollen issues. They've saved me during the spring. I can now go outside, or drive with the window down to enjoy the cool breeze without having a major headache or feeling sick later. I hand wash these because I've dyed them, but when I got lazy I've just thrown them in the washing machine without thinking, but they've come out with no issues each time. Machine Washable? Yes Great for Dying? Yes Breathable? Yes Block Pollen? Yes Block pathogens? Yes Comfortable? Yes

These seem to be of good quality, and I'm pleased with that and the value for the money. I ordered some in both adult and youth sizes, and am completely satisfied with the adult ones. The youth size, however, are going to have to be donated I suppose. I admit I didn't really check the measurements, but my child is 9 so I assumed he would need the youth size, since he wears child-size masks in other brands we've purchased. However, these are entirely too small for him. They don't cover enough AND the ear loops can't reach his ears anyway. Can't return them (which I understand) so maybe his school will want them? Thing is, the adult sized ones are too big. So he's unable to use this brand at all I guess.

YOU CANNOT RETURN THIS PRODUCT! BE AWARE! The adult size is fine for men but way to large for most women! It does NOT fit close to the face and gaps on women. I am bigger girl so if it is too large on me then it will be way to big on more petite faces! The Youth size is probably great for kids under age 6 but is too small for older kids and too small for petite ladies trying to fit into either size. I am a mask maker and have been making masks since March 2020. I am very aware of sizing and what works for various ages etc. I purchased these for a project that I did not want to take the time create my handmade masks for. It was a fail. Also if you want to use these for HTV, good luck, they do not lay flat so while it can be done it is not ideal at all. I tried to return the packages I had not used but returns are not being accepted. While this is very common with PPE products it is not listed on the item listing that it is not returnable - or if it is it is not in a clearly visible location! Complete waste of money for me.

I was pleasantly surprised with these masks. I bought them for an outdoor event to have extra on hand. They fit well on most people's face, if you have a smaller face they may be a bit loose. For the price they are excellent, I am planning to buy more to have as extras over the winter.

They do shrink and are smaller than some other masks, which is what I was looking for. Fits a small adult and 10 year old child and up. I liked that it was black on both sides. Not the most comfortable material but can’t beat the price for that many reusable masks.

You definitely can't beat the value of these masks, however I was disappointed by how large the ear loops were. I later realized I should have looked for masks with adjustable ear straps. The masks themselves were generally too large (I bought medium) but they shrunk a bit when I put them through the wash which helped a bit. Really, the ear loops are the most annoying aspect: I would need to adjust and stitch each loop (there's 25 masks so 50 straps to fix....). Although the value is seriously great, I think I would recommend starting with adjustable masks before taking a risk with these.

I have washed these masks several times and they still look and feel like new. Just remember to hang them to dry and you won’t be disappointed. They are soft and comfortable to wear.
