Purchased for an E38 with blown original 4ohm woofer door speakers. I rarely play it full blast, so for those of us who don't need to wake up the neighborhood, they are perfect. If your review is based on packaging, please just don't. We've all had bad packaging and delivery nightmares, not the products fault or do we need you to rant about it here. It doesn't help readers make a decision. In any case, packaging was good from Amazon, double boxed. Sound, better than I expected. It replaced some old woofers and while the car has separate tweeters, these seemed to enhance the sound. As for volume, they are more than adequate, with little to unnoticeable distortion at higher volume, compared to the originals, no difference. for those E38 or BMW owners, sorry I didn't take pictures, however they were a perfect fit for the 5.25 sized original mount.

They get the job done at a very reasonable price. Solid construction, good sound and appearance.

UPDATE: 10 months later and still getting compliments on how great my fairing speakers sound on my motorcycle. Inside the fairing, the bass is significantly better than I hoped. No issues. I had doubts about the wiring size, seemed small, but wired to a 4x50 watt (RMS) head unit and they sound loud and clear. Polypropylene cones... hope the rest holds up to wet conditions, but they are not advertised as "marine." They were a great value and sound great.

I was installing a car stereo system on my 70's muscle car. Needed front speakers that needed to fit in the kick panels and they needed to be flush so my emergency brake would clear. These 5 inch three way speakers fit perfectly with under 2 " in depth. Pretty responsive, decent but not great sound and they supply pretty flimsy wiring with 5 strands of thin copper inside. I bought some better quality speaker wire and used that. For under $25 I didn't expect much but I think I got a bit more value than I expected

Sound is OK, I haven't really gotten a chance to fully use them yet. They are a lower profile overall than the other Pyle 5.25" speakers which is why I got these. I am fitting the into the dash of my T1N Sprinter and they look like they'll work (With a lot of modifying of the openings in the dash of course.) But on these, and the others, I am having to re-glue the plastic ring back on to the outer edge of the speaker cone. I have glue on order now. All four speakers had the ring barely glued on. Once I get them glued and installed I'll know more. Quality control on both model speakers is poor.

Good speaker quality for the price. Easy to install

Installed in my harley and sound horrible ganna hit the trash can I wouldn't recommend them
