Kill quickly, as in in seconds.
Costly, but what isn't these days? It does the job -- one must spray the fruit fly directly. There is no residual action. Pleasant aroma. I find that Zevo brand is as effective, with one or two fewer essential oils, and is less costly. Both are effective.

works and has a pleasant scent
i like this product and feel safe using it around my dog. i primarily bought this to use at my front door to keep flies from coming into the house, and it works! even if i have to use it every day to me that is effective. i hate the smell of traditional pest sprays so this is a nice difference. i do think the scent is pleasant. i have not used it directly on anything flying but i would expect that it would be effective. i recommend this product

A STRONG but natural scent
Definitely killed on contact, but the strength of the essential oils scent and stuff triggered my asthma a bit. The smell is strong and lingering, but still better than most other pesticides! I do think it controls pests better than other natural brands I've tried.

Smells great, doesn’t work
Smells amazing. Doesnt work on hardy NYC houseflies. You have to spray them multiple times/drench them. The first few times you spray them they just fly away and five minutes later they appear unaffected. It does leave a residue on hard surfaces, like any other product in its class, but it dries clear on upholstery so that’s a plus, and is why I give it three stars instead of two. It works fine on lantern flies. I don’t have any other kinds of pests so I can only speak to those two.

It works! No more fruit flies!
This stuff works! Believe me! It was my fault because I had put a new pack of onions on an old onion. Well, surprise! Fruit flies or gnats all over. I cleaned everything and sprayed the crap out of those buggers! Yep, you spray it and they drop. It's as simple as that and thank goodness for maybe 1 or 2 the rest are dead!!!! Amazing stuff this is. I wasn't sure at first about buying it but yes, most definitely it works. When I say I had a swarm of them, they are gone! Seriously. I keep a clean house but when something like this happens you just have no clue what to use. This stuff was my miracle! You see them, you spray it and they drop. I also carry a paper towel because it is a bit oily but it kills them. As you spray when you see them or not, like on your wall, wipe it with a paper towel, your fine. On the floor if you spray, wipe it. Plus I can safely say my cat, Buddy is safe and fine. Buy this! You will not regret it! I plan on keeping this on hand in my cabinet!

Give Insects a Spa Treatment They Seem to Enjoy
I am absolutely amazed every time I try to use this, pantry moths can be blasted fully with a continuous spray of this stuff and just keep fluttering along unfazed. We have a problem with these small moths and they fly too erratically to swat them with your hand very effectively. So an aerosol insecticide should have been the answer. But this can has proven to be useless; although it sprays a strong mist, the insecticide does not work. I've tried over and over - at this point I've used up half of it with a zero success rate. A spray bottle of water will at least knock them down so you can finish them off on the floor. After stubbornly trying again and again, it never has killed or even knocked down a single bug. All I end up doing is gassing my room (and myself) and making an oily mess everywhere. The smell isn't great but that would be a small price to pay if the stuff actually worked. Quite the waste of money. I am finally going to give up and disposed of the rest of it.

Oh my god, the smell! (Hack, cough)
Whoa. I was NOT expecting that scent. It’s overpowering and not great. I get it, it’s ecologically sound, but good lord. If you do buy this, spray it on a cloth and wipe it on surfaces. Maybe I’m over sensitive, I don’t know. I had to change out of the clothes I was wearing when I used it. However, less fruit flies.
