Perfect if you’re using it for a cat toy…
We found out after getting a package with a packing strap, that our cat will no longer play with anything but packing straps…. So if you’re using it as a cat toy, 10/10.

Not a true 1/2 banding strap
The size is off to a true 1/2. I have purchased this type of strap before from Uline and their product are most accurate or close to a millimeter difference. Any open seal will have a tendency to curve to the left and leave rough edges outside when crimping. A closed seal formed a ribbon type shape when crimping is done. I gave it 3 stars due to these results which were done numerous times. I'm not an expert or claim to be, but I have been banding boxes sending overseas by containers. These cargo ships travel to rough seas.

Does not work! Not 1/2" and 1/2 the thickness of standard strapping, seals do not seal - pulls apart
It is narrower than standard 1/2" strapping (.045" vs standard yellow strapping .048"), may not look like much from the measurement but it is visually noticeable. The real problem is it is too thin, the thickness of this strapping is only .02" whereas standard yellow strapping is .04". I have tried 2 different Seals, a standard flat metal that works great on other Polypropylene strapping and I bought a box of serrated Seals to see if they would grab - no matter what Seals I use I can pull the straps apart with my hands. Maybe this undersized strapping needs a special Seal to make it work, certainly 2 standard ones did not.
