Home Energy Intelligence How did you come up with the idea for this product? We were tired of getting surprised by high electricity bills and not knowing what to do about it. What makes your product special? CURB is simply the most powerful and intelligent integrated hardware/software system for visualizing and managing energy. CURB monitors six dimensions of real-time energy usage data at 8,000 times per second through multiple digital signal processors (DSPs) and comes with 18 dedicated hardware sensors (CT-clamps) for accurate disaggregation of appliances and circuits. Multiple CURBs can even be linked together for larger homes & commercial buildings. CURB connects to the cloud through on-board HomePlug circuitry or its dedicated Ethernet port (using WiFi or direct-connect). iPhone and Android apps provide easy to understand and actionable information, with direct control of appliances using Samsung’s SmartThings API. The desktop dashboard enables you to visualize historical trends, notifications alert you about abnormal events, and personalized weekly emails keep you up to date on energy-saving progress.
