Item arrived well packaged in purpose built light weight nylon carry case with basic foam interior to protect the contents. The light panels are bright and very easy to use with separate controls for brightness and bi-colour temperature. An easy to read backlit display shows percentage brightness and colour temperature which makes this extremely quick to set up and use. The in-built battery is a great addition and keeps the profile slim. A battery charger for each panel is included and charges the panel quickly. It is the 'old style' type charger (not USB) which are quite bulky but the benefit is that the panels can both be powered from the mains when in use removing the worry of the battery exhausting during long shoots. The panels have a frosted white light surface with no LED pinpoints visible when on or off and gives a great diffused light which is great. I plan to use these as a key (front light) and fill-in side light as I don't have room for a large soft-box in the small space I am using for youtube videos. Initial results suggest this will work well if panels are kept around 1m from subject which is expected for this sort of panel (when using as a main light) and it's great not to require additional diffusion which would add to bulk and complexity. Panels will also be great to provide additional light when filming on location when internal battery will really help keep everything quick and simple. The kit includes two light stands which are budget but do the job - I was not expecting much at this price and personally use existing mini tripods with the panels on the desktop for studio use. The light panels and made of plastic but feel very solid and well put-together. All in all highly recommended for the price and I will add to this review based on longer term use.

I had to place order twice because the first one went missing in transit and was refunded so delay to obtain the unit was 6 days, however the unit came well packed with a small acceptable indentation in one of the corners of the Raleno box. There was a small 16 page instruction manual which in my opinion is not necessary as all parts are interlock able and assembly easy to figure out. The rigidity of the aluminium stand at 19 to 75 inches gives the set up an appalling appearance whilst the convenience of attaching it to the DSLR or camcorder via the cold shoe puts in versality and gives various flexible options to illuminate the subject, object or caption. The twelve-month warranty will leave you with a peace of mind or you can opt for extended warranty. The simplicity of operation using the control knobs for Colour temperature (3200K-5600K) and brightness (0-100%) is worthy to be mentioned here because it can be adjusted whilst looking at the huge backlit display that can be comfortably viewed. At this price the absence of a remote control is understandable and once you start using it for different exposures, you can easily pre-determine the settings for the brightness and temperature control knobs Overall crisp images, untainted videos, elimination of shadows, brings out the best when a full 5KHD video camera is used and when streaming online at 1080. I am a skateboard filmer and these lights are fantastic value, light, easy to use and very efficient - long gone are the days of lugging a generator to a spot to light it up! In the lightweight carry case I have everything I need. I use these 2 lights on the included light stands (which are plenty sturdy) to illuminate the outside spot (such as a bench or stair set) and they definitely do the job. I was a bit sceptical that they wouldn't be bright enough for outside use but in a close range situation they are. If filming with the fisheye, I use a 3rd Raleno light on top of the camera which lights up the skater brilliantly. The light turns on instantly, which is very helpful as I turn it off in between takes to save battery life, and skating is such a fast paced environment that you need it to be available instantly at your fingertips, which it is. All in all, a great lighting package and I am very impressed with the build quality, softness of the light, the brightness and the ability to change the colour temperature. It is a great bit of kit and especially useful for these darker, winter months. I don't know how I would go back to shooting without them!

A lovely set of budget lights for the amateur photographer/ videographer. Great temperature and brightness control, long battery life if you're out of reach of a mains (you can run them from mains too) and just a nice set of lights. Stands go very high BUT are very lightweight and would easily fall over outdoors. However, at this price I didn't expect proper "Professional" quality and my work is all indoors anyway. A lovely storage case, nice enough build quality and, overall, budget lights with a reasonably quality feel and performance.

I bought these lights as I had previously bought the smaller version of this soft light and was very impressed. The new lights arrived even sooner than expected and arrived in perfect condition. The carry case they come in are of a very good quality. Durable well thought out and light weight perfect for when your on the move like at weddings or even nightclub photography. The tripods that came in the package were a very pleasant surprise. Extremely sturdy with a great range of height and weigh almost nothing. I will have many uses for these and my old tripods can be very heavy to drag around. The lights themselves were even better than I expected. Providing a very even light which did not flicker even taking super slow motion videos. They light itself can be very bright, far brighter than I thought. Now it won't light a large outdoor set however indoors this kit is just ideal or even if your just covering a smaller outdoor area. The range of colour is extremely impressive from super warm hues to freezing cold and stark scenes this kit has you covered perfectly. Using both lights in key and fill roles I could take a completely dark scene and change it to a cozy evening or morning scene to broad daylight in a matter of seconds as shown in the pics. Battery life is exceptional for a light of this quality and easily go over an hour and 20 minutes without charge. The built in batteries are a real god send compared to camera batteries which need to be removed to recharge. These lights also run on there supplied adaptors for longer sessions. Build quality us fantastic however I expected that from the smaller light I bought previously This is a fantastic piece of kit for a hobbiests and even for a professional on the move

Fantastic lighting, nice and stable on the desk and with a good range of motion, can adjust brightness intensity on the fly and as far as i can tell so far, they're really reliable. My only gripe, the only issue, and it's a really annoying one, is there is zero remote control on them at all, can't even use a smart plug as the battery power keeps them active when the power is switched on. no automation, no bluetooth, wireless, no way to add them to any automation software at all, which means when it's time to switch them off... then you are manually getting up and hitting the power button on the back. This is a huge oversight in design as most key lights are situated behind or above monitors, usually at a distance. I can automate my entire setup, right down to the switch on the other side of my office door, but these key lights, it's entirely manual, which, if I was to tell the truth, are making me consider swapping them out for something with remote control, regardless how well they perform. I can 100% say that if they do fail or if something breaks, I won't be getting them again, i'll be looking for something with similar specifications but an added remote function, as this really is a deal breaker that I wasn't aware of when purchasing.

I ordered one of these lights on their own in the Prime sale and was very impressed with it, so ordered the set that includes 2 x lights and 2 x tripods to complete my lighting set up. The kit comes very well packaged - in its own bag, allowing safe transportation for the two lights and tripods. There are also two chargers (one for each light) included in the kit. The tripods are basic, but stable enough for the weight o the light, and extend high. From ground to top of light when on tripod fully extended is 188cm. The tripods are adjustable to all heights in between - easy slide with thumbwheel turning. There is an adaptor supplied that allows the light to be angled as well as rotated on the tripod. The lights themselves are very good indeed - rechargeable with the ability to change colour temperature as well as brightness. They go from 3200K to 5600K, and don’t flicker (something I was concerned about prior to purchase). Being rechargeable means that there are no wires to trip over and also means they can be used in areas where there is no power socket nearby. Basically, this is a no faff set up that will allow you to light your photo / video shoot easily and with a good degree of colour/brightness adjustment. An added advantage I have found I can also use them under my car when doing any servicing on it as they are nice and thin and extremely bright - and I will also be taking them when I go camping as I am sure they will be great for that as well. I have included some pics to show the packaging and also the set up of the lights. Just to note - The pic on the desktop shows my own small tripod (Manfrotto) not the ones supplied in this kit.

Firstly I have to mention the packaging and carry case for these lights. I can see that the company has put a lot of attention into this and I was impressed with how it keeps everything secured, protected and easy to remove and put back in. The lights themselves are really good. I had bought 2 smaller version lights from the same company before and used them for my blog videos, which are good but a little small and I don't like how those ones were battery only. These new ones are much bigger and they plug into the wall so I can have continuous lighting and not have to worry about the battery running out half way through a video. The range of light is great with very easy to use controls for brightness and tone. The stands are also really good and good quality. They stand nice and tall and have been a nice addition to my setup as I was operating without full height stands prior to this. For a basic setup, these are awesome and a good price for what you get.
