Amazon Basics Aluminum Uni-Directional USB-C (Source) to DisplayPort Cable (Display) - 6-Foot

Has lasted and works as expected. Fits well, and won’t be dislodged easily. Allows my Fiancé to connect a monitor to her MacBook.

I bought this DisplayPort to USB-C cable specifically to use with Samsung DeX, and it works flawlessly. Plugged it in, DeX launched instantly, and the video output is sharp and stable at 4K. No lag, no flickering, no handshake issues, just a reliable connection every time. The cable feels well made with a sturdy aluminium housing and a good length that makes setup easy. It stays cool during use and has handled long sessions without any hiccups. If you need a dependable USB-C to DisplayPort cable for DeX or general 4K output, this one does the job exactly as promised. Highly recommend.

the product does not work correctly after a few weeks of usage. the screen turns black sometimes. i am testing it with a different cable now, and there are no issues anymore. i am sure the cable is faulty. but there is no support from Amazon, I am not able to send the product back even though it is not working. is there no warranty for cables? if there is, why there is no available option to choose from? i want a solution... update: refunded. satisfied.

This USB-C to DP cable is as long as stated on Amazon's page - it's amazing how many are a few inches/cms shorter, so it's already looking good. The cable is one of the fashionable weaved material types that are becoming more popular - they don't seem to twist as badly as plain PVC ones, so again a plus mark. Connectors are sturdy and metallic so should have a good lifespan, though they are a bit slippy if you haven't got a good grip on them. The cable doesn't look or feel as though it'll stand up to repeated pulling on the cable rather than the plug to disconnect, but you shouldn't be doing that anyway. And, to top it all, "it just works" with my Dell XPS and monitor. Picture shows no issues a poor, out of spec cable would produce and I've failed to introduce any RFI or EMI into it that has a visible effect on the screen so it seems well shielded. I’ve been using USB-C to DisplayPort cables for years without any problems, and I decided to give the Amazon Basics version a try. I’m now regretting that decision. The cable worked fine at first, but lately, every time my PC goes into hibernation, I have to unplug and replug the cable to get the display back. If that doesn’t work, I end up having to reboot the PC altogether. It’s becoming a real issue. I’m now auto-syncing and backing up everything, making sure my work is saved before stepping away, and shutting the PC down overnight just to avoid losing anything.

Great. It does exactly what you need it to. Appears to be well made, at least as good as a lot of more expensive ’branded’ items if not better.

Not a lot to say but it worked with my new M1 Mac Mini to Dell monitor USB-C to DP port. Construction is solid. Cable has a slight rubbery feel to it. All good recommended.

Lo llevo siempre detrás. Tengo otro cable de este tipo que falla con algunos monitores, no sé por qué. Este modelo nunca me ha fallado

Câble USB-C vers DisplayPort qui fonctionne très bien, c'est le 2ème que l'on achète pour un second écran, rien à dire, il est robuste et arrive dans un emballage soigné.
