Unilever is known for testing on animals. So is this product actually cruelty free?

What they are not telling you is that Unilever chooses to sell its products in China, where animal testing is still required by law. Selling to the Chinese market is a CHOICE, and it's one that many companies will not do, until China bans animal testing. So, this is NOT to be considered a "cruelty free" product, certainly not in the strictest sense. Unilever should just be honest about that, rather than trying to mislead customers with the deceptive and incomplete answer they provided to this question. Shameful.

Does this shampoo contain sulfates?
