When the heat is transferred to the canister locally, intensely, and remotely to the CRV or when the fire builds up rapidly such as in an explosion, then the canister can be weakened sufficiently to rupture before the CRV feature operates or while it is operating. Check the connection seal and replace if damaged or lost. Insert a new cartridge in the appliance and ensure the connection seal is tight. Make sure the cartridge collar notch is correctly aligned with the appliance locator tab. After Use Do not puncture, pierce or incinerate.
