I bought this tool to replace a crimping tool that came with a set of connectors that I ordered previously. The old crimpers literally crumbled as I tried to crimp my connectors. I was almost entirely certain that I wasn't doing anything wrong, and the new crimpers confirmed that for me. I have successfully crimped about 20 individual pins so far, and there are no signs of damage to the new crimpers. The previous crimpers broke after about 5 uses. They are a bit fiddly to use, but that's because I'm not used to crimping connectors. Before this, I just used pliers to try and crimp my connectors. This tool does a much better job at crimping (who'd have thought, right?) I have absolutely no complaints about this tool, and I wish I had ordered it sooner instead of trying to find a crimping set that included the crimpers.

Works as it should. Not overly complicated. Over all it appears to be make with quality and the grip is comfortable. It appears to crimp the contracts onto the wire really well. However, as you can see I did push the wire to far into the connector too far. But it was my first time setting it up. But like I said it works just as it should.

For the price it is a decent crimper. The dies are not well aligned, so sometimes the pin/socket will not curl onto the strands and insolation well. I have to do some alignment and shimming to get it to work consistent for production use. This is a good tool for the home user not for production or quality field work.

Considering the price this tool performed the double crimp very well. The large area makes a one squeeze action rather than two separate squeezes you normally perform with a regular crimper. It crimps both the wire crimp and the insulation crimp at the same time.

Spent 4 hours on my knees in the back of a Delorean on Saturday replacing a 40 year old melted fuse box. These crimpers worked like a charm. Perfect crimps on every terminal every time.

A little learning curve but then much easier and more effective than some other crimpers I tried for very small crimp-on pins in multi-pin connectors. A little tricky but effective. Saved me a lot of time and effort on a big project. Eliminated re-does.
