This is my second mouse from Logitech, I have a wireless and wired one. Great value for money, very sturdy and the perfect shape and size of it fits perfect in my hand, speed of the scrolling and where the buttons are placed are just perfect as you can switch the functionality of the buttons. Great quality will deffo purchase again.

I used one of these mice for years. When it finally broke, I bought a Roccat with more buttons, a better sensor, snazzy software. But the Roccat is slippery to hold (I added sugru "grips") and just not such a comfortable shape in my hand. I've ended up with RSI in my index finger. I don't know whether to blame the Roccat mouse, but it's definitely not helping. So I have bought a replacement M500 because it served me well for so long. I miss the extra few buttons when gaming and the pads underneath the Logitech aren't as slippery on my mousepad. But the logitech provides my wrist, hand and fingers a very gentle neutral position. I'm sure it is better for me in the long run. Welcome back, comfy mouse.

With mice, you basically get what it says on the tin. It does the job. What mainly lets this mouse down is the mousewheel. Apart from the annoying brrbrbrrrrbrbrbrr rattle you get from spinning it, as a middle mouse button, you really have to press hard to register. Even beyond the 'click', it'll sometimes not select unless you press further.

This is a very comfortable, for all day use, ergonomic mouse (but only for right-handed mouse users. It has customizable buttons apparently, but no instructions as how to effect the customization. I have the earlier model of this one with my PC in Switzerland and it's only after purchasing this one 6-7 years later and reading the specs that I realized that two of the buttons are left and right nudges of the mouse wheel.

Delighted. This is the best mouse I have used, comfortable in the hand and does exactly what it to do.

The back button on the left side is a real nuisance - i'm constantly accidentally clicking it, causing me to lose my place all the time. I won't be getting another, it's really annoying.

I have had too many troubles with wireless Logitech mice over the years so I got this for working from home and it has performed without a glitch unlike it wireless siblings. I have been using Logitech mice for many years now because the ergonomics suit me but, mostly, because of their hyper scroll function. I now find that I cannot use a mouse without it. It makes navigating long lists or large data tables so much easier and requires a lot less hard work for one's index finger which affects all the muscles in the lower arm. A mouse without hyper scroll is old hat these days, an outdated technology that should not be used. Incidentally, if you don't like the hyper scroll, it can be switched off.

Stopped working after barely using it for 2 months. Won't connect to any device. Can't get a refund through amazon as I bought it over 30 days ago and Logitech are very hard to contact. Buttons felt cheap and flimsy when it did work. Would definitely not recommend.

Io lavoro come web developer e questo mouse è ottimo per le mie esigenze. La rotella funziona in due modalità: a scatto normale oppure in modalità iper veloce. Questo è comodissimo per scorrere velocemente file di codice lunghi. Inoltre ha anche lo scroll laterale spingendo a destra e sinistra la rotella. Anche questa feature è comodissima per il coding. I due tasti laterali sono configurabili. Io li ho impostato per il copia e incolla, davvero comodo! Cinque stelle meritate.

This thing fits my hand like a glove. Love this mouse. Have used the old model for over 10 years, now got another one for at the home office.

This review is for Logitech M500s which is uses a sensor instead of a laser for tracking. This is by far the best mouse I have ever used. I operate it in the free wheeling mode all the time and going back to the click wheel function feels very odd indeed. Browsing is effortless as you can scroll extremely quickly just with a spin of the wheel. Paired with 'Just Another Scrolling WE' Firefox plugin, the mouse is very, but not totally smooth, especially if one line scrolling is enabled in Windows. The side or horizontal scrolling function is something I use regularly as well especially in Photoshop and Lightroom. Highly recommended.

Mükemmel bir ofis faresi. Almayı düşünenler kablosuz versiyonu M705'i de düşünebilirler ama onun biraz daha küçük olduğunu göz önünde bulundursunlar. Bende ikisi de var ve ikisi de çok güzel fareler. Ergonomileri güzel, tekerleklerinin sağa ve sola itilebilmesi güzel. Sürtünmesizlik özelliğini ben kullanmıyorum, alışık olmadığım için tuhaf geliyor sanırım ama eminim seveni vardır.
