ASICS Gel® Headgear, Black, One Size

I have used cheap and expensive ear guards, but always seem to be coming back to this particular ear guard. I train BJJ and my son uses this for wrestling. For BJJ the worries with ear guards would be that it makes it harder to get out of guillatine chokes and triangle submissions, but I would say that this would be lower profile compared to the majority of ear guards out there. For my son, he seems to like the velcro adjustability that this could be done easily by himself even right before a match. This is also affordable enough that if you loss it, for the price point, it can be replaced without worries. My son seem to loss his ear guard every two months, so I own extra pairs of this particular ear guard as replacement. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

This headgear is great! It adjusted easily and snugly with no uncomfortable spots. It cleans easily and is easy to disinfect. It doesn't retain sweat or smells! Great protection from bumps and rubs! My son has a very large head and this adjusted perfectly with room to spare. Very nice

Easy to adjust and the kids didn't complain about any discomfort. Only negative is the neck stap is too long and would not tighten up on my 55lb son and my 85lb son. Had to cut the connector off and connect the neck strap directly to slot in the ear piece.

Work great

These are a great fit, bought for my friend since he doesn't have one and his ears are getting bad from rolling, i have a matman headgear and the chin strap sucks hard. Tried these on when they came it, the fit is really good, and the chin strap pad is great. I ended up ordering myself one too. I got the matmans since they are soft on people that dont have any ear protectors on, but these arent too bad, i could see in a really hard clash but if that is happening a lot then either people dont know how to roll and are getting agro or somebody needs to chill a bit.

Way too big for a teenage boy.

Have two tweens that started wrestling. They have worn them a few times for tournaments. They seem to be fine with the comfort of wearing them. They sometimes slip when they are on the mat but overall they seem to be a good option for a smaller head.

So far, so good. Purchased to replace headgear that strap kept coming undone and sliding up face during matches. So far, no issues with this one and it's comfortable.

Does what it is meant to do - protect the ears. Sometimes slips a bit while sparring hard, but in general, a good product, especially given the price - would recommend!

It’s a good item, but I paid over £50 and it arrived marked as $19.99. Made me feel like I’d been ripped off
