I am making some customized Acrylic LED drawing light boards and these are perfect. They already have one USB connector installed. After cutting the initial length to size, I just add another connector and USB plug to whatever custom length I need. I like that it comes in a two pack and they are easy to cut and add connectors. They also are great without using them for DIY projects and provide great brightness for decorations or under cabinet lighting. Will buy again.

These look great and we're easy to install, the blue tape was kind of hard to peel at first, but it worked out well for an ebike frame. Mounted a charging block under the seat for a power supply.

I bought for the specified color (red at 620-625nm). This is the red light wavelength which is preferred for preserving night-vision-- as it will not cause your pupils to constrict. I mix observational astronomy and camping, and had one intended location inside my camper-van for the two strips that come with purchase: - Inside, on the rear-facing overhang before the driver's compartment, to mark the transition from camper portion of van into the driving compartment. I am constantly hitting my head when ducking under, and the red light shinning away, rearward, from the driver's section ought to be unnoticeable to me when seated up front. As these are brighter than I anticipated, that led to two additional benefits and the now planned use of the second strip: Since one strip will be on the rear-facing edge of that overhang behind the driver's seat (intended only to warn my poor head of the obstruction in the dark), this results in the red lighting directly over the dining/work table. This is where I will have my star atlases, and work up my plan for the night. No more hand held flashlight filtered with red film. So, now (because of the unexpected brightness) I want to use the second strip overhead and just inside the rear double-doors, as that is where I store and assemble/disassemble my telescope tube assembly, equatorial mount, and tripod. I'm most pleased with the color, and USB connection. WARNING! I had just plugged in one reel of lights to test, and moments later read that you should always unroll before doing that. They mean it. The reel was very hot when I reached to unplug it. No damage, but likely could have been. Unrolled and plugged in, they seem to dissipate heat well-- barely warm to the touch. The packaging, not just the details on the Amazon site, ought to include this warning. The 5v USB version I have is drawing 1.7 amps. That is for a full (uncut) string, and so is a total of 8.5 watts. That explains their unexpected brightness.

cool blue cob leds give off a mystic glow to my e-bike. at +5v with usb-a connector, easy connect to my e-bike aux power connector. as with most led strips, need a sharp xacto blade to separate the 3m paper strip with our removing the 3m adhesive. led strip is rated for splash proof and appears to stick well. will probably by more for other e-bikes.

The product came as advertised, but the packaging, although very good packaging, isn't what is inside the box. No harm no foul I guess. See pictures. There is no remote or color changing, its just white light which is what was advertised. Also the USB cable is not 3 ft long. One of the strips was wired incorrectly as shown in the picture. I can desolder for my purposes so again not a big deal for me. The portion of the strip not wired correctly does work if I test from the other end. The lowest voltage to turn on dim was around 2.7v and these seem pretty bright at 5v. When plugged into USB power, I do notice about the first 2 feet of the strip gets warm. Not hot, but noticeably warm when holding if your hand. The USB cable is about 20 inches long. I would buy again if the ones I bought hold out for a while and not burn out. But the bad wiring I hope is just a one off if you do not plan on doing your own soldering with them.

Love these, they are my go-to for led lights. I just wish there was an option for a usb-less version because I just cut them off and use my own with on/off and dimming capabilities. Make sure you follow the directions, the adhesive likes to stick to the blue liner.. once you get it started it’s smooth sailing but it can easily be overlooked and I feel many with the negative reviews were not mindful of this.

I have been buying a lot of different LED lights. These ones were great. Unfortunately one of the sets stopped working. But it is still good value for the money

The adhesive on the back is very sticky, but it will only be effective on smooth surfaces. I knew this going forward as I was trying to attach these lights to gaffer tape; the adhesive held on just long enough to get the size and position worked out, and then I used a Gorilla gel superglue to actually stick them down. Nice and bright, even in the daytime!

The box was broken and 1 of the 2 rolls was broken. Unfortunately, without plugging and checking I used it for my project then I plug it, I realized that it was broken. It ruined my project.
