Nettie Elephant Neti Pot

Simple and exemplary in both form and function. This little Neti Pot is made of substantial, lead-free ceramic and the design is truly ergonomic. It has a small footprint, is easy to handle, and the two beautiful elephant eyes that grace the pot keep in mind those majestic creatures with whom we share the earth. The bonus is that a portion of the profits is slotted for their care and continuity. Such bounty and benefit from an item that is elementary and used daily.

This nettie pot holds enough liquid to clean both nostrils easily. Upon receiving the pot I ran it through the dishwasher a couple times and just before using I sprayed it with alcohol, let it dry and then rinsed it with sterilized water (water boiled for 20 minutes).Using the sterilized water I mixed the saline solution (1/4 teaspoon plain salt to 8 ounces water)in a sterilized jar. It may seem like overkill and a lot to do but it was pretty easy and it made me feel safe. Also I am proud of not using plastic, etc. In addition I must say the pot is very cute. I intend to buy more to send as gifts for family.🥰

Very delicate vessel. It seems that it is real porcelain. Holding it up toward a light source, looking into it displays the characteristics of real Chinese porcelain being translucent. Unfortunately, the spout is somewhat small for the nostrils but it doesn't take away from its high quality. I will try to squeeze the nostril to the spout with my other hand to make it "leak proof." I recommend it and am thinking of buying an other one for backup. The price is not bad in comparison to the plastic ones selling even for higher prices. Edit: I did not succeed with squeezing my nostril preventing leakage. I found the solution. Buy here, on Amazon, NOSE PILLOW from an other brand. The "STANDARD" size fits very snugly and stays in place securely. They come in pairs, so one can be a backup.

I had a neti pot like this year ago and was terribly sad when it died on my tile floor. As someone with bad seasonal allergies (spring, summer and fall; so fun!) who loses their voice at least once as year due to those allergies and who's job relies on their ability to speak and project, replacing it was critical. This one is just like my last one. Excellent flow rate, easy to clean and it makes me smile with how cute it it.

This neti pot is so dang cute, which makes the fact that the tip is too small for my nostrils even more disappointing! I’m pretty confident that I don’t have abnormally large nostrils and I’ve been using neti pots for over two decades and have never had this problem. I’ve seen other neti pots with a smaller nostril area, but they also have silicon tips that you can put on to make it fit better. Unfortunately I can’t seem to find where you can buy just the tips and not have to get a whole new neti pot. I had been looking for one these adorable elephant pots for awhile and could only find this one - such a bummer since I can’t use it. I’ve tried many times, thinking if I just angled it differently, but it just doesn’t work for me.

I think this is kind of an expensive one, but it’s very cute. Be aware that it’s very light weight and the glass is fairly thin. But it fits well in my smallish nose.

A simple cute and an effective neti pot. A beautiful elephant design and kids would love to use it. My son is so happy seeing this and wanting to use it more often! And not to forget about their noble mission for fighting against the war on ivory.

This pot spout fits perfectly into my nostril. The arch of the spout sends the water into my sinus at a good strength/pressure. (It doesn’t just pour in.) i can place this in the dishwasher for a good cleaning. I broke the first one of these I had and couldn’t find the replacement for years because I didn’t know the name. I finally found it here on Amazon after buying half a dozen other pots I did not like as well. I have bought this for several family members and I am thinking a need a spare.
