Is it stainless steel

No, the dart is not. The key ring on the one I purchased is, but the actual dart itself is not stainless steel. In the description below the product reads, " Like the CAT Tanto, the Delta Dart is made from Zy-Ex."

If drug cartel members are in your house and have you tried up this poker isn't going to help nor is anything else expect your praying to your God. I suggest buying a firearm to keep them out of your home and off your property to begin with, especially since their not very reasonable and don't value life. If your not able to own a firearm or want a quiet weapon I'd get a small crossbow and bolts, one with a 80lb minimum. (Obviously higher lbs = a faster bolt and more powerful the crossbow.) It's only about 12"×14"+7" assembled (some break down for easy carry and storage) or a bow and arrows. (I have a 80lb and it'll send bolts almost all the way thru a 1-1/2" thick piece of wood so it'll definitely does some serious damage) Either item and their necessities are available here on Amazon.
