The pumpkin pie on its own runs the risk of being overly sweet, so I blend mine in ice with cold brew coffee and start my day with a pumpkin pie frappuccino. It's also good mixed with plain yogurt if you are someone who likes the seasonal pumpkin pie yogurts but can't do the extra sugars in your diet. Upon mixing with liquids, the white powder turns orange, which isn't really necessary, so I wish they'd drop that effect and extra ingredients. But Trutein has exceptional protein powders with unparalled nutritional profiles, so if pumpkin pie (or in this case, extreme pumpkin pie) flavor isn't you, I would definitely give this brand a try in other flavors. I usually have vegan protein powders, but I get the occasional tub whenever I find myself dreaming of pumpkin pie lattes and ice cream because this really does put those cravings to rest while providing a slow digesting protein to start/end my training days. I don't think twice about the cost with Trutein because of the ingredients and profiles, but from what I see, you're getting a high-value product at the mid-value price range. I think they can do this because they don't seem to spend much on marketing or partnering with other companies to push their products, so you're actually paying the the powder inside, and not the label or advertising.

I bought this as a protein supplement prior to barriatric surgery. Has a decent taste, and otherwise is a protein supplement. I'd recommend if you're looking for the pumpkin flavor.

Taste/mixes great making protein fluff!! I’ve been purchasing this brand for a couple of years. Nice change of flavor when bored with others.

I use a lot of protein powder.. syntrax is my favorite brand normally but I have really been enjoying this pumpkin pie flavored protein

Tasty, high quality protein blend! The pumpkin pie is really tasty. It tastes pumpkin pie-ish, not dead on, but really good. I bought the eggnog flavor off the Body Nutrition website and it’s AMAZING. Perfect eggnog flavor! I make a big icy smoothie with this in my Ninja Chef blender and it’s so good, it’s like a dessert treat! The strawberry, cinnabun, s’mores, vanilla, and banana cream are also delicious. The chocolate mint is ok, and red velvet cake is alright. I love that they offer samples!

Why in the world would anyone spend that much for 2.5 lbs of protein powder when the same product can be purchased locally for under 50 bucks.
