It's hard to know if you can taste the apple but you can certainly taste the cinnamon but it's not overpowering in fact it's so yummy it's addictive as soon as you buy one box you'll wish to buy another.

Very Tasty But I Prefer Plain Cinnamon
In my quest to taste all the Cheerios and rate them (started for an unknown reason) I ordered the Apple Cinnamon and the plain Cinnamon at the same time so I could compare them. I do like the Apple Cinnamon very much, it's delicious and I would order it again. But I preferred the plain Cinnamon. I've actually reordered the plain Cinnamon. I think either of these would be great in a snack mix for those inclined.
