I love these little guys. They make cutting a pineapple very easy. You can remove all the tough stuff you don't want to eat and are left with the good stuff. I definitely recommend this purchase if you like fresh pineapple.

At first, I didn’t really like this pineapple eye remover, but once I figured out the technique it made a big difference. The trick is not to pinch right away—just insert the tool into the eye, and it will naturally grip as you push it in. Once it’s inside, then pinch and hold onto what it’s already cut to pull the eye out cleanly. It works well once you get the hang of it. The only downside is that the tool isn’t very ergonomically friendly. If you need to remove a lot of pineapple eyes, it starts to rub against the palm of your hand, which can get uncomfortable. Overall, though, it does the job and is effective once you learn how to use it. I gave it 4 stars. If it wasn't so uncomfortable to use after prolonged use, I would give it 5.

We grow our own white pineapples. Using the eye tweezers is a great way to save as much of the pineapple as possible. They work very well and clean up is a breeze!

This tool works really well and makes peeling pineapples much faster. However, the steel is quite thin, so extra caution is needed when hand-washing to avoid accidental cuts. It would be even better if it came with a safety cover or casing.
