How many applications before nozzle clogs up and become useless?

Paul's right folks, always keep these glues in the fridge. I'm using a bottle of Super Gold/foam I bought in April 2014, it's still fine and the tip isn't clogged at all.

Yes it does dry clear. If you use a activator, it might bubble. Also keep water away as it will cloud the glue.

No this is a super glue type product. You would need a filler or epoxy type product. "Gap filling" for super glues is like a hairline gap.

Will this glue work to inlay rocks in wood?

Sure, CA can make almost anything stick. However, there may be other Super Glues that would be more appropriate. BSI also carries a Thick version(BSI 113), or a product that contains silicone bits(BSI 119). Both of these would work better on porous materials.
