Hyde 09977 Radial Sander

Perfect product for sanding walls quickly prior to painting. It comes with 1 sheet, so you may need to buy additional ones like I did. Feels very well made and sturdy. This does not come a pole, which I thought it did, but it wasn't clear in the details. But sourced one from somewhere else as it's just a screw pole needed, such as ones you use on paint rollers.

This did exactly what it needed to. It's well made and sturdy but also incredibly light. I used/am using this for deknibbing wall between coats and it works a dream. 320 grit 150mm discs work well for this application. This works with standard screw in pole attachments and makes what could be a time consuming job by hand, much quicker.

Well made and very good sander, feel sturdy and will stand the test of time. Another great thing is it fits on the Wooster painting poles, I painted a mist coat and need to sand the wall before applying second coat. I knocked off one star as it came down in price after I purchased it! other than this very happy with purchase and worth paying that bit extra for quality tools

Very good when you need to sand walls to remove imperfection prior to painting and to sand easy fill. Very happy with this purchase. Every painter should have one of these.

This sander helps to make an unpleasant and messy job much quicker and easier. The large size helps sand a larger area while avoiding making the little grooves that smaller sanders can make. Easy to use with a pole, it can also be used as a hand sander. The soft underpaid really helps with sanding control. One tip: purchase extra sanding screens (I found them on Amazon) — they last much longer than sandpaper and actually help keep the dust down by trapping dust under the screen. You free the dust by pulling the screen off the foam pad. Sandpaper is less expensive, easy to find and does work very well — I find it just doesn’t last as long as the screens.
