does this shampoo help remove dandruff from scalp?

No it doesn't remove dandruff. It's primarily for people with sensitive skin since other shampoos can irritate your scalp. I found it helpful. It is good to have several shampoos that are gentle products if you have any kind of skin issues. Dandruff can be caused by many things. So if you have very bad dandruff, I would recommend that you have a dermatologist look at your scalp.

Works great on my colored hair. The conditioner makes my coarse hair soft

Isn’t it drying? Second ingredient is alcohol and smells very strong.

I use the exoderm conditioner with it and that prevents the dryness. I put very very little conditioner and it's more than enough. The smell mostly goes away once you wash it out and disappears once your hair is dry. I got it for the itchiness mostly, and honestly within a week the itchiness completely stopped. So I was happy.
