Wow! You don’t see quality solid wood furniture like this anymore! what a great find for a great price! It was put together quickly and easily and came with solid screws and a wood backing. Beautiful piece of furniture!

Package arrived no damage to box. Large and heavy for one person had my 13 year old daughter carry it in with me. Nicely packaged with styrofoam and wrapping. Unpackaged no scratches or dings in the wood all pieces and hardware inside with the instructions. Instructions are very straightforward my daughter compared to a Lego set. Assembled on a 8x10 rug, I did use a screw driver with a hex head in lieu of the supplied Allen wrench there are lots of fasteners. You will also need a Phillips bit or driver. Total assembly time with unboxing and disposal 30-45 min. Also of note when installing the supplied pins the shelves sit on we used a hammer to lightly tap them in. End result is a gorgeous mid century tv stand my mother would turn in the grave to see us decorating the house in the style, she could not get rid of this type of furniture fast enough in the 70’s. Top and bottom appear to be solid wood, heavy duty along with the legs. The partitions and doors are a veneer. Very nice finish for a home assembled kit. Much of our furniture We have had custom built for the solid wood. Ordering this took me back to my college days buying kit furniture so was very skeptical will say very pleased with end result.

I'll start by saying that it arrived 4 days before it was supposed to, which is amazing! It came packaged really well, so all of the pieces were protected. The instructions are super straightforward. The only thing that was difficult about the assembly was putting the magnet panels on. It felt like the screw holes could have been made another millimeter down in order to fit better. It feels really sturdy and we are super impressed. Only assembled it today. I'll write another review in a year to let you know how it holds up.

First of all, this thing is HEAVY. The sticker on the box said to use a forklift, but of course I didn't have one. Instead I opened the box and carried each piece upstairs separately. However, the instructions were very clear, and assembly was straightforward. The top piece of mine has a foot long hairline crack with a bit of white paper or plastic stuck in it, but it's not super noticeable except from the side and the whole thing is too heavy and unwieldy to try to exchange. Overall, it's very beautiful and good quality, and I'm glad I bought it, but do check over all the pieces before you start putting it together and definitely get help carrying it up any stairs.

I don't normally leave reviews but this purchase made me want to. The Draper Low Console was a pleasure to work with because it's really wood. I know I'm not going to get a quality hardwood piece at this price but I'm happy with what I got. I'm so tired of trying to find something affordable that isn't particle board or MDF with a micro-thin faux wood plastic laminate that scratches off it you look at it too long. I'm really happy with the vintage look of this piece too. It's perfect for my record player stand with plenty of room for albums, standing on edge, in the side compartments. I used a power drill to assemble it but when attaching the top, the screw heads are hard to get at so use the included socket head wrench with a ball end - the ball end helps a lot. A couple of the screws wouldn't tighten down because the pilot hole was a little large or the wood a little soft. I just replaced them with the next larger screw from the hardware store. I tightened all of the preinstalled screws too and found a couple of those "stripped" as well and stepped up the size for those. Not a problem. When installing the doors pay close attention to get the hinges high enough so that the bottom of the door doesn't scrape when it's closed - you'll only get one shot. I found the factory marks to be spot-on but it helps a lot to use an awl to make a little pilot holes for the screws. Also, do yourself a favor and have someone hold the door for you. I did it by myself but it was frustrating (the pilot hole with an awl helped a bunch). Anyway, I like this piece a lot and will go back to Draper products in the future. If this is the look you are going for, look no further.

This is the fourth item I have purchased from SimpliHome, and regrettably, it is the first to present issues. Aside from the rear backing, none of the wood pieces were labeled, which prolonged the assembly process. After reviewing the images, the components, and the instructions, I was able to complete the assembly. The primary problem was that several pre-drilled holes were not actually pre-drilled. These holes were located on the back of the stand where the back panel attaches. I attempted to secure the back panel using the four pre-drilled holes (the back should have included 18), hoping that the remaining screws would self-tap. This approach was unsuccessful, as the screws split the rear bottom of the stand and one of the sides due to the absence of pre-drilled holes. I will need to position this piece in a corner to conceal the damage. The front of the item appears satisfactory, and no other issues were encountered.

This cabinet was easy to put together and is a very good quality we were quite satisfied with the quality of the wood and the hardware. It suits our purposes perfectly and puts the TV at the right height in our family room we like the large storage areas on each side plus the two shells in the middle. The feet are also very high quality. I highly recommend this product
