Why is this yarn priced so high when you can get it at the store for between $1.00 to $1.77?

You are correct. They do give you free shipping. But for 2-3 times the MFR price ? IDTS ! It's ok for people like me with a disability. Sometimes we can't get anyone to take us or go shopping for us. But it's still way to high. It doesn't cost That much to ship.

Does anyone know how a yarn ball compares to a yarn cone?

These solid color balls are 2.5 ounces and approx 120 yards. ( Ombres are 2.0 ounces and approx 95 yards). The cones that Lily has in this yarn are 14 ounces and 674 yards. There are limited colors in cones available.

Are these cords 4mm in size?

These are not cords. They are cotton yarn for knitting and crocheting. It is classified "medium" and "4" on the label.

Vibrant and pretty colors

The colors are vibrant almost neon and appear as pictured. They are a nice thickness and as described. The yarn quality is good and flows smoothly for crocheting. I am a beginner and trying out some different patterns. The price is good and this yarn has fun colors.

Beautiful colors!

This yarn is absolutely beautifully colored! I used it to make a dishcloth so far and will make other projects with it. It’s very bright and beautiful. I wasn’t done the dishcloth in the above picture I used all 6 colors in a rainbow rowed cloth and it turned out really nice! You’ll be very happy with thsi purchase!
