The Camillus TECA leather hatchet sheath works very well with a slight modification by trimming the rear strap so it fits around the hammer head.

How many ounces is this hammer ?

The whole tool weighs about 31 ounces. I cannot separate weight of the head vs the handle, if that is the question.
