All 350 drive gears are not the same. This is not well known. My '72 C50 has an oval female slot to drive the male oval oil pump intermediate shaft. As my old drive gear was in ok condition, it turned out to be an easy exchange. The old drive gears do not seem to be available. It is possible to put a new oil pump, intermediate split fork shaft to fit this distributor flat blade distributor drive. This requires dropping the oil pan and changing with the new parts. Not as easy as changing drive gears. Amazing fit and finish. I had to accurately measure components to insure I could exchange drive gears and was impressed. Wires were also impressive and give lots more clearance to exhaust manifold. Truck starting and running were improved beyond expectations. Shipping took longer than expected but well within the stated time expressed. All around 5 of 5.

Installed on my 68 chevelle 350 replaced the points. It fired right up and runs smooth. Good quality wires and distributor.
