Great ink. Doesn’t smear

Complete garbage, worked nicely in the beginning. After a couple uses, it leaked all over my white work shirt. As the other negative reviews stated, ink all over the inside of the pen. Work shirt is now ruined. Buyer beware!

I have been carrying Bastion pens at least 5 years. Ive tried many other brands including the one that comes with my pens. I prefer these refills over all others for how well it glides over mst things I write on ( like Rite in Rain notebooks). This has a deep tone and doesn't smear easily. Great for us left handed writers. Keep making this refills please. They make the difference.

These are priced pretty reasonably compared to the competition for this type of ink cartridge. The ink is very nice and dark, and very smooth. These have been the best of this type (metal cartridge gel refills) that I have tried so far. Most of the others started off really nice, but after a week or 2 of use, the ink would become splotchy and occasionally stop flowing. These refills from Bastion have been very consistent after a month of use and are nothing short of excellent. That said, I still prefer the much cheaper (and dare I say, better) Pilot G2 refills, but not all pens can fit the Pilot refills. All-in-all, these perform very favorably to the Pilot G2 refills. Highly recommend, and will buy again.

I absolutely love this brand have loved everything I have received from them whether it be from amazon or their website. But when I ordered these gel refills I was hoping for that nice, dark gel look and feel but got what felt like an old or dying cart instead. I tried each one of them over the course of a few days and could get them to write well on some paper but not in any of my journals. I feel like I prob just got unlucky with the batch or maybe gel just isn't what I should be using because I ordered the blue ball point refills and they work and feel amazing. Def shouldn't be looked at as a reflection of the company our its products but just wanted to share that my experience and see if anyone else agrees that I may have had a bad batch or if gel just isn't right for me. Bastion I love you! Keep making good products and ill keep coming back for more.
