Excellent Product - Transforms the lens
Excellent fit, and speedy well packed delivery. This item transforms the utility of the 800mm lens and makes both tripod use and the addition of a handle simple. Great value.

Essential accessory - don't believe YouTube!
I don't often write a review but there's a lack of independent info based on real-world experience. 800mm is an extreme focal length so you need a tripod or monopod to get the best out of an 800mm lens (despite what influencers on Youtube are saying about Image Stabilisation). I've tried and it's not possible to connect the lens to a tripod with a regular Arca Swiss plate without some "wobble". Even tiny movements are magnified hugely at 16x magnification, ruining photos. Canon should supply this accessory as standard with its 800mm F11 lens but chooses not to. The 800mm F11 is a great lens costing less than 10% of the price of its pro 800mm lens and Canon doesn't want to undercut its premium product.

Tripod foot.
This tripod foot fits perfectly on the Canon 600mm f11 and 800mm f11 lenses.

Value for money compared to Canon
No sharp edges and very well made. It's sturdy and well finished and takes camera and lens well. Worth the £24 paid and have ordered another for the RF 600 this time.

Very nicely finished, and mine does not have the sharp edges mentioned by another reviewer. In fact, the color and finish are very similar to the lens itself. While not a 100% perfect match, definitely close enough. The anti-rotation pin prevents twisting, and the plate locks securely onto each of my tripod heads. There are four small screws securing the enclosure of the 1/4 mounting screw. While they did seem to be tight, I added a tiny drop of non-permanent thread-locker to each one, just as a precaution. This is a well-made foot, and it's a good value in my opinion.
