Great Purchase!
This is an excellent stair stepper. It's compact and easy to move. The machine works with foot pedals on top of pneumatic pistons instead of a wire, like others I've had; and the wires tend to snap as they are not really strong. This is much more well-built and substantial. The only downside is that you can't adjust the resistance, but the default resistance on this is pretty tight, so you get a good solid workout without it being too hard to move the pedals. So overall a good piece of equipment. Now a word about Sportsroyals, the company who sells this. Their Customer Service is EXCELLENT!! Here's what happened. I ordered the stair stepper and long story short, Fedex lost the package. I contacted both Fedex and Sportsroyals, and they sent me a new one within less than a week!! The folks at Sportsroyals were respectful, polite, and responded very quickly to my request. So I totally recommend buying from this company, as well as the stair stepper itself. This is a NON-INCENTIVEZED review.

A lifesaver. Literally.
This little machine has finally motivated me off my ass and into exercise! Short version: Buy it and don't give up! You won't regret it. It's sturdy and does the job. Long version: I am a 54 year old fat, sedentary gamer with a congenital heart defect. My blood sugar and blood pressure were so high at my last doctor's visit, that I had to make some drastic changes. Along with a better diet (no salt or sugar, much less potatoes and bread), I knew I would have to start exercising. I bought this stair stepper mostly because it seemed sturdy, was rated for more than my weight, and was in my price range. The first week or so, it felt impossible. Like others have said, the tension is set high, and there is no way to adjust it. Don't panic! It gets better. At first, I could only do two minutes at a time, then five mins. Now, one month later, I just finished a 35 minute session! The tension loosened up a bit, and I got better, too. Here is what helped me. I parked it next to our TV and put together a Youtube exercise playlist. I chose songs with good rhythms and fun videos to keep me motivated (tip: Paula Abdul's "Straight up" is still excellent!). It is MUCH easier to step to dance music than to plod through while watching a movie. For better cardio, you'll want to take shorter steps. Again, this is where the music comes in handy to keep you on rhythm. Shorter steps have lighter tension, too. Since I've been able to do longer workouts, I've noticed my weight coming off easier. I've been losing about a pound every 3-4 days. The best part is that I was able to lower my blood pressure from 170/95 to 138/88. It's not perfect, but it's a drastic improvement, and I didn't have to go on meds. The machine gets about an hour of use each day, and so far it works beautifully and hasn't developed any loud noises. If you are looking for a reliable exercise machine that won't take up much space and doesn't cost a ton of money, this one is an excellent choice!

Solid little stepper
Overall I'm pleased with how long this machine lasted. It was a fairly decent investment to get my body moving. I bought this in March 2024 so that I could exercise in my small apartment. It doesn’t take up much space. It is nice and heavy which I prefer for something that is holding my body weight. It also has rubber on the feet to prevent movement. I always felt safe using it. The stepper lasted 111 hours before breaking at the metal seam in the middle in 2026. I'm between 230-260lbs depending on the day so I'm not a tiny woman. At the time it cost $139.99. The display pops out so you can replace the battery(1 AA). Occasionally I'd yank it out by accident but it was easy to fix.

it’s solid and feels like good quality
Not at all bad for the money. It’s heavy enough surprisingly good quality. I literally use the resistance bands to work back arms and triceps as well I was very skeptical because I used to work out in the gym all the time and didn’t think I’d be able to find something inexpensive and small but this works really nicely. It’s quiet it will get you a nice burn in your legs and gluts. I have it in my living room in front of the TV burning calories while I’m watching Stranger Things. I recommend getting this. It’s inexpensive but solid and a good quality, it’s small and super easy to tuck away in a closet or under the bed. I have been on mine like three times today. It’s actually kind of fun

Surprisingly sturdy and well made
Not bad! Good for someone just staring to work out OR if you work in an office with sit to stand desks. You can get a small workout done while you’re at work! It is kinda heavy - (not too bad) maybe I’m just a wimp but taking it to different offices can be a little “Ugg” if you have no muscles like me! Keeping it in one spot under your desk is best.

This a solid built machine and the workout it provides is awesome! Top quality and great value
Just received Saturday and so far am impressed. This stepper is solidly built and is larger than it looks which to me is a bonus as it gives enough space between foot pedals to keep well balanced. The pedals themselves are large and comfortable barefooted. The pads provide good grip and I felt very secure on it using the resistance bands. Anyone hesitant that it doesnt have resistance adjustment let me just say the hydraulics provide adequate resistance for me and the burn 5 mins into it was no joke! Nice little workout to sides and hips as well as it provides a twisting motion with each step. The resistance bands provide a good upper body/arm workout too. Arrival 4 days sooner than expected date of delivery was a nice surprise! Cant wait to see what kind of results Im going to see and no more excuses for getting steps in on bad weather days. I did a lot of researching reviews and comparison shopping between this one and the Niceday and Sunny steppers and am very glad I went with this one. I am thoroughly pleased.

Decent, Might Keep
Has its pros and cons. Pros: No assembly required other than attaching the monitor to the unit. Very easy. No power cords needed; the unit is standalone I break a nice little sweat even using it for 5 minutes Decent price for what it is Cons: There is no way to adjust the resistance. It just is what it is. There’s one setting out of the box. The foot pedals move inward, which I didn’t expect and am finding I don’t like. When I use real stairs or a stair master, I don’t position my feet inward. I walk straight up. So trying to get used to the inward motion is very strange and I spend more time thinking about that than simply working out. So I’m on the fence. Part of me loves the ease of use and the fact that no electricity is required. I like that I feel it working and it lets me get a quick workout in between meetings. However, I don’t like that I can’t adjust the resistance and I don’t like the way the pedals move. If I could adjust the resistance and straighten the pedals it would be a perfect machine.

In a word: Adequate.
Disclaimer: I'm not an athlete or a runner or anything, I don't go to the gym or go crazy on my cardio, so I don't have much frame of reference on how good any elliptical can be. I got this one because I needed a way to get my steps in during a long break from work, and this one is small and cheap. I've been using it almost daily for about a month and a half, and I try to get in about an hour on it each day. Also, I didn't bother with the resistance bands that came with it. First, the downsides: -The caps on the feet keep coming off while I'm using it. It doesn't seem to pose any danger, but when one comes off, the whole machine wobbles a little. It's irritating and frequent enough that I'm considering taking a hot glue gun to it and fixing it permanently. -If you use it regularly like I do, after a couple weeks or so it will start to squeak and creak like a wounded animal with every step. There are quite a few moving parts and hinges on this thing, and it's often hard to diagnose which one is screaming because mine only does this when there is some weight on it. The only reliable fix I've found is applying cooking spray liberally to each hinge until it stops. Then enjoy the relative quiet for a week or two until it starts squeaking again. It's a frequent and irritating issue, and the solution is tedious and messy. Easily the worst thing about it. -The pedals aren't super comfortable. I started wearing house shoes while I'm on it, which makes it a non-issue for me, but worth noting. All that said, the upsides: -It's cheap. -It's small, fits under my coffee table. -It came fully assembled and ready to use. -It works. I don't know how accurate the calorie tracking is, so keep that in mind if that's important to you. But I like that it keeps track of my steps and time until I reset it, and I like seeing my steps per minute as I'm going. And you can adjust the resistance fairly easily if you want to. Overall, I don't think I'd necessarily recommend this to add to your home gym if you're serious about fitness (and you shouldn't be listening to my opinions on that anyway!). But if you're like me and just trying to get in some steps and you're short on space and/or cash, this isn't a bad buy.

Buon prodotto
Soddisfatto dello stepper!
