Maiskiy Tea Black Large Leaf "Crown of the Russian Empire" 100 Count X 2 Gr

Overall this is great quality black tea. For reference, I have been drinking PG Tips, which is the very popular British tea. To be totally honest, this Russian tea tastes almost exactly the same as PG Tips. So while I was kind of hoping for something different from the British tea, I was still satisfied with this tea. I always make a very large pitcher of it daily and drink it at room temperature. (It makes excellent iced tea or room-temperature tea, in my opinion). Goes beautifully with sweetener -- I use stevia powder. And btw, this is FAR, far better quality tea than American Lipton tea. Once you try this tea, you will never want American tea again. This tea (and British tea) is much more flavorful and stronger.

I first tried this tea out of a Russian MRE and I fell in love with it, I'm not a tea snob but this is a lot better than your standard Lipton tea and I've yet to try a better black tea. It makes wonderful iced tea and sweet tea as well. Just be aware that this is not a box of 100 individually packaged tea bags, it's a box of 100 tea bags, so it's probably a good idea to put the box in a gallon ziploc bag after opening

It's nothing fancy but it's a good black tea. I use 2 bags plus a bit of milk because I like it strong. This stuff would probably make a great iced tea if you're a fan of big flavor instead of the smoother type usually sold for iced tea. Of course if you're going to have a lot of tea, you should really make zavarka with loose leaf, but for a normal cup this does the job. I knocked off points for the "airtight storage" rating, but if you don't use this while it's fresh why buy the 100 pack anyway?

One of my favorite Ceylon teas. Very rich amber orange color. Unfortunately it's no longer available.

I am anything but Russian, but I took a chance purchasing it after watching a couple Russian movies. I figured, what the Hell, give it a try. Well, this has turned out to be some of the best, if not the best, Tea that I have ever consumed. The flavor is so much more than Lipton’s and is really enjoyable. If it won’t break your bank, give it a try and comment.

I ordered this blindly and couldn't have been more delighted with it!! It was a "recommended" Amazon product and I totally agree with their assessment. Order it and see (and taste). Also, there is a good amount of tea in every bag so each cup is made pretty strong and only requires 1 bag; teas these days (especially Lipton) have really diminished the amount of tea in each bag so you need to use 2. Not this brand; enough tea in each bag to make a good, strong cup. Love it!

It's a great tea! I disagree with some reviews saying that it's a weak tea and flavorless. One tea bag is strong enough to enjoy it.
