What is the Circumference of the largest strainer please? I find the shown measurement a bit confusing.

The diameter of the middle-sized sieve is 11.8 centimeters or 4.6 inches, the circumference is 37.04 centimeters or 14.5 inches. The diameter of the smallest sieve is 6.8 centimeters or 2.6 inches, the circumference is 21.36 centimeters or 8.4 inches.

often the larger sizes of sieves are too shallow for retaining potatoes etc after cooking, how is this, please?

Based on customer feedback, when designing the product we have ensured that the large sieve is not too shallow and is deeper than the other similar products available on the market. The depth of the large sieve is approximately 8.5 cm. Therefore, we believe it would be able to retain potatoes and other vegetables either after cooking or if you want to simply wash them.
