Does the peroxide in the product lead to brassy tones as the color wears off (as w/ other peroxide products)?

With shampooings as my hair grows out, the color gets a little lighter with some gold overtones. I like this slightly lighter color better than the color it is when I first dye my hair. -- I'm a greying natural ash blond, and the grey has made my hair drab and makes me look older. I started coloring my hair to get my natural gold tones back. This has been the best coloring product I've been able to find for my needs.
