Variations are possible!
It came with a damaged timer. When I turned it on, there was no sound, so I opened it with a special screwdriver. A tiny wire inside was bruised, so I wound an electric tape on it. Then I heard the tom-tom beat and later a screech! The first 2 games almost gave us a heart attack! What a game. We made a variation to lessen the stress: we taped a black sticker (electric tape will do) on 3 monster sides of the dice to lessen the monster count. Another variation (for the absolute beginners): delay using the monster by not counting the monster faces in the dice. Just keep playing and see who finish at the end of the 5 tiles.

GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT
MY GRANDSON ASKED FOR THIS GAME FOR CHRISTMAS. I KNOW HE WILL ENJOY IT VERY MUCH. HE PLANS TO PLAY THE GAME WITH HIS BROTHER AND FRIENDS.

cheesy and boring
It takes more time to set this up and read the rules than playing the game takes. Might be entertaining to 6 year olds

Costs a lot
Very expensive. Looks like you could get tired of it in a hurry. I will ask the kids if they ever play it and will rate it again.l

A bit confusing
I was a bit confused by this game and how to play it at first. My 8 yr old son had to have this but once we bought it we only played with it twice and that's it. I did enjoy playing with my son and binding with him over the game.

My son loves it
Got this as a Christmas present for my 9yr old son and he is constantly wanting to play it, make sure you read the instructions well because it can be a little complicated to begin.

Grandson
My oldest grandson loved this gift. He now has a reason to use his mother's Ipad. Now he thinks that he is a big boy and wants one of his own.

Used?
I was very excited to be able to purchase this game at such a relatively inexpensive rate. However, the box was damaged when I received it and was taped shut with scotch tape. The box is very banged up, but the pieces inside seem to be brand new.

Very enjoyable
This was a gift that was sent straight to my friend's children. They sent me a thank you note, and my friend has contacted me saying how much they have enjoyed playing it.

The recipient was happy to get it
I purchased this as a gift. The recipient was happy to get it, however the box was in terrible condition (dents and scratches) when it arrived. It almost seemed like it had been used.

Temple Run
I was very disappointed by this. Each game was over very quickly, and there was little or no element of excitement among the two children (8 and 11) playing. It might as well have been snakes and ladders. It was also a nuisance to keep moving the 'path' boards.
